The defect: Battle Motors, Inc. (Battle Motors) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Let2 trucks. The steering wheel retaining nut may have been improperly tightened, allowing the steering wheel to loosen and detach from the steering shaft.
The risk: A loose or detached steering wheel can cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Owners are advised not to drive their vehicle until the repairs are completed. Dealers will inspect and tighten the steering wheel retaining nut as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 25, 2025. Owners may contact Battle Motors customer service at 1-877-546-2537.

STEERING:LINKAGES:DRAG:LINK:CONNECTION

The defect: Battle Motors, Inc. (Battle Motors) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Let2 trucks. The drag link connecting the steering gear to the roadside steering knuckle may become deformed or break.
The risk: A broken drag link can cause a complete loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will install a new drag link, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 1, 2024. Owners may contact Battle Motors customer service at 1-877-546-2537.

Driver on route stated unit moved on it own after he left cab to service a cart. He had to stay in the cab to keep unit from rolling even with brake engaged.
