CABIN "DOGHOUSE" ENGINE COVER WAS NOT PROPERLY INSULATED AGAINST HEAT AND NOISE FROM THE ENGINE. THIS COACH (SERIAL NUMBER 2L1AU8065) SHOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED UNDER JAYCO SAFETY RECALL NO. 9903527, NHTSA RECALL #20V-667, BUT FOR SOME REASON WAS NOT INCLUDED. THIS PRESENTS AN IMMEDIATE THREAT TO US THE OWNERS AS ARE COMMITTED TO AN EXTENDED TRIP WITH THIS VEHICLE WHICH WE JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED, BEING UNAWARE OF THIS PROBLEM. THE HEAT AND THE NOISE ARE TREMENDOUS AND WERE NOT NOTICED UNTIL WE WERE DRIVING THE VEHICLE HOME FROM THE DEALER ON INTERSTATE 5.
