The defect: THE WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM HARDWARE WAS INCORRECTLY MOUNTED, CAUSING WIPER BLADE OVERTRAVEL AND PREMATURE WEAR, AND IN EXTREME CASES, THE WIPER BLADES MAY FAIL TO CORRECTLY TRAVEL OVER THE WINDSHIELD.
The risk: INSUFFICIENT WINDSHIELD WIPER PERFORMANCE REDUCESOPERATOR VISIBILITY IN INCLEMENT WEATHER AND COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.
The remedy: MODIFY THE MOUNTING OF THE WINDSHIELD WIPER HARDWARE AND REPLACE THE PASSENGER SIDE PIVOT ARM.

The risk: THIS COULD RESULT IN THE DRIVER'S ATTENTION BEINGDIVERTED WHEN SELECTING CONTROLS WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR AN ACCIDENT.
The remedy: INSTALL HEADLAMP SWITCH CONTROL IDENTIFIER EITHER ON OR ADJACENT TO THE SWITCH.
