rear camera keeps going blue and then will go out. But it will come back for a day or so and then go out again. I know this is a known problem on these vehicles and I need mine fixed. As well as the purge valve that has also been a known issue as well

This is my wife’s car, I have already had to replace the evap hoses on this car twice due to faulty motor craft purge valves. I also replaced the charcoal canister before the second time I replaced the evap hoses so somewhere in the system there is a faulty part. Now at 80,000 miles my wife’s car is experiencing what many others are calling “shuddering”. How am I supposed to get anywhere in life when I just paid this car off and now I need a new transmission after I have done all services as specified by manufacturer.

Safety Defects and Mechanical Failures My 2020 Ford Edge (VIN: [XXX] ) is plagued by systemic safety defects that render it unroadworthy under Pennsylvania law (37 Pa. Code § 301.2).[1, 2] The 8F35 transmission suffers from a documented "shudder" and loss of motive power (TSB 21-2389), creating a high risk of collisions in traffic.[3, 4, 5] Additionally, the vehicle is subject to critical federal recalls: Recall 21S02 (21V-011) regarding sudden rear axle seizure [6, 7, 8] and Recall 20S49 (20V-550) regarding a lethal fire hazard from leaking transmission fluid.[9, 10, 11] The engine also exhibits a design flaw known as "coolant intrusion" (TSB 19-2346), which leads to catastrophic engine failure and hydro-lock.[12, 13, 14] Deceptive Trade Practices and Lender Liability CarMax sold this vehicle as "Quality Certified" without fulfilling the disclosure requirements mandated by the 2022 Multistate Attorney General Settlement.[15, 16] Specifically, CarMax failed to provide the required standalone, signed disclosure form for open safety recalls prior to the sale.[17, 18, 15] Because this transaction was financed through Santander Consumer USA, the lender is derivatively liable for CarMax’s deceptive acts under the FTC Holder Rule (16 C.F.R. § 433).[19, 2] This federal rule allows me to assert all legal claims and defenses against Santander that I have against CarMax, including breach of the implied warranty of merchantability, which overrides any "As-Is" disclaimer when a vehicle is sold in a non-roadworthy condition INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

At around 47,000 miles (April 27, 2024) my car would not move when I put it in reverse to leave my house that day, the engine would just rev and it would not get into the reverse gear. Then warning light came on for the power train so I called the dealership and had it towed to their service department. They said they had to completely rebuild my transmission and it took them almost a month to complete the repairs. (May 6th, while the car was at the dealership , I received several engine warnings from my Ford app. I got my car back from the dealership about 2 weeks later) But immediately after getting my car back from the dealership there were still issues; it’s slips gears , especially from drive to first gear and first gear to second gear and the engine will rev for a while and then the entire vehicle jerks when it finally catches the next gear, also it doesn’t have enough power for steep inclines , it will just roll backwards while the engine is raving trying to climb the hill. This happened intermittently after the transmission rebuild but has since progressed to be an everyday issue. And I’ve sent it back to the dealership several times over the last year for them to fix it but it never gets fixed. They keep telling me they did a software update and that should fix the issue, but it doesn’t. It’s at the dealership again right now because it has gotten so bad that I can’t even drive the car. You start the car, put it in drive and it just revs and won’t even catch first gear. It now has around 60,000 miles. I’m the only owner of the vehicle and I take excellent care of my vehicles. I just want my vehicle to be drivable and a vehicle that is worth the price that I paid for it. I paid for a brand new vehicle, but what I got is a piece of crap. And not drivable.

I bought the vehicle and have had major mechanical issues with it I have replaced the motor and the full exhaust system I am having powertrain issues as well. I feel as though ford she be held accountable for all of the issues the ford edges have being they all have the same issues this should not be legal. I got this vehicle to help me build my credit and now it's hurting my credit because I can't keep up with the car payments from all the major repairs that I have had to do on a 2020 vehicle. They will not even take my vehicle as a trade so I can get from under the vehicle responsibility this has not been a reliable vehicle at all.

While I am driving my vehicle Ford Edge when I press the gas pedal the vehicle do not respond property. Is acting like the vehicle has no enough gas and its shake the car a little bit. I took it to the Ford dealer in Asheboro NC, but because is no recall in place the only option for me was to pay for a initial inspection and see if the problem can be found. About the Forward Collision Warning is coming one in a while when we are driving for no reason. I also notified to the dealership that my dash board have a little bubbles for no reason because has always sleep inside the garage. I also reporter at Ford dealer at Sanford years ago, but it's was they did not found any solution and cover to it. I am very frustrate with this situation.

EGR cooler faulty; the year this vehicle was manufactured in 2019 has an active recall with this same issue; however because my vehicle in the same year; 2019, was manufactured in a different time bracket Ford will not honor said repair. Leaving me with an extended warranty whom will not cover said repair also. $1800(+) out of pocket expense. Any insight on how one is too challenge this?

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
