SUBJECT: URGENT COMPLAINT: Deceptive Practices/Misrepresentation & Services Not Rendered (Woodhouse Ford of Omaha) I. Actionable Safety Issue Summary This complaint concerns fraudulent billing and dangerous misrepresentation by Woodhouse Ford of Omaha, which claimed a vehicle's 3rd rack and pinion system was "safe" on 2/19/2026 after a known safety issue, following a previous failure. They further charged $219.22 for unrendered/improper ABS programing repairs that was not successful because the electric rack and pinion is defective on 3/5/2026 and fabricated invoice records to shift liability. II. Parties Involved •Consumer: [XXX] •Dealer/Service Provider: Woodhouse Ford of Omaha, Service Manager Jeremy Sullivan, Technician Anthony Rubio. •Financial Institution: First National Bank of Omaha (Regulated by OCC). III. Nature of the Dispute 1.Safety Hazard/Misrepresentation (2/19/2026): Service Manager Jeremy Sullivan and Tech Anthony Rubio stated the vehicle’s rack and pinion was "safe" despite a prior failure. This misrepresentation has left me with a vehicle that has had the rack and pinion fail or require replacement three times in under a year. 2.Services Not Rendered (3/5/2026): Charged $219.22 for "programming the ABS module" which was not rendered or not performed correctly. 3.Fabricated Documentation: Woodhouse Ford created fraudulent service invoices stating I diagnosed the ABS fault and declined further diagnosis. This is an attempt to evade liability for ongoing, dangerous defects. IV. Regulatory Violations & Requested Action The described actions violate consumer protection laws, including: •Dodd-Frank UDAAP (12 USC § 5536): Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices. •Fair Credit Billing Act (15 USC § 1666): Billing error/services not received. •Regulation E (12 CFR 1005.11): Procedures for resolving errors. Transmission randomly stopped driving at highway speeds rpm spiked and no movement was in fast lane at 75 mph. Transmission is toast now in for 4-6 thousand dollars to replace also ford did the recall on the emissions reprogram a few months before this issue then tells me it needs a catalytic converter another costly repair car is unsafe. I’m thankful I was driving and not a family with kids.

Vehicle flexplate broke causing loss of power in rush hour traffic. Luckily was able to get to the side of the road without major incident or causing an accident. Broken flexplate also caused damage to transmission and ptu. Was informed this is a common issue wiith this yeat make and model but ford refuses to do anything about it. They would rather wait for some peopke to lose their life befor takiing responsibility. But who cares about peoples lives when you have stockholders to pay and ceo bonuses to hand out. Feel its worth mentioning i had the car at the dealership a couple times for other issues and had asked them about problems i suspected were precursors to this happening. They denied there was even an issue. They they told me the noises were normal and refused to even document my concerns let alone actually physically check the vehicle. I believe they were intentionally trying to hide the fact they knew exactly what was going on. Ford needs to take responsibility but since they wont you guys need to make them.

My car when it is parked it will randomly pop the trunk. A lot of issues I’m seeing is ford fusions 2014 and up! Few of my friends are having the same issues especially with keyless entry pad it’s causing issues from water damage or heat causing the car to to this! Their needs to be recall on that cause kids doors aren’t locking properly I have kids I had someone almost steal my car cause my trunk was popped open by itself! The flex plate on my vehicle was cracked. Which damaged the transmission pump. We heard what sounded like a box of rocks which quickly got louder and louder we took the car to the dealer the next day. We had no other warnings something was wrong no engine light or anything. Had this plate broken completely we likely would have crashed and our small children could have been hurt. We took it to our local Ford dealer who diagnosed the issue, but would want over $6000 to fix the issue, on top of the $225 we paid to get the issue diagnosed. So for the forseable future we have no safe vehicle.

I bought Ford Fusion Hybrid 2014 from Marine County Ford [XXX] (@51,000+ miles) The car was inspected & in “good condition”. In 5 months, 6/2022 (@61,000+ miles) I noticed a barely distinguishable noise. My mechanic discovered a tiny leak in transmission. There were NO leaks under car. This “tiny” leak took 2.0L of transmission fluid to fill, so the car was ALMOST OUT of transmission fluid. There was NO warning on the dashboard. Mechanic said the leak had to be 6-12 months old since the hole was small it had to take long time for all fluid to leak out. Same day while driving on FREEWAY, the vehicle suddenly started shaking and became almost uncontrollable, then Dashboard displayed “stop immediately”. I barely managed to steer it to the closest exit. It turned out the bearing (VERY small part) was completely destroyed & because of it the WHOLE unit needed to be replaced. It’s a huge unit 1/3 size of the car. Both dealer and FORD said the car was out of warranties (warranty issued only for 8 years/100,000 miles) not applicable @61,000 miles. They also denied coverage with extended 90 days warranty, even tho mechanic stated the leak was old. Ford has this transmission issue listed in their TSB which means it’s a KNOWN DEFECT to the dealer. The repair cost was 1/2 of car value. But Ford dealers do NOT disclose this. I did replace transmission in 8/2022, with my mechanic with the unit from used car with 54,000 miles on it, “tested and certified by the “SWEngines”, a national parts dealer. BUT that unit ALSO broke, also after 5 months, due to SAME defect of same bearing. The unit had apps. 65,000 miles. But I was watching it. I had to pay twice, for both units. This model represents DANGER on the road due to faulty transmissions that can break any time, without warning. Leaks in them are not easily detectable and even concealed by the cover absorbing oil. recall 19V632000 does not show up as a valid recall for my specific vehicle; however, it is at a Ford dealership now. the issue is bolts corroded, the steering gear motor is detached from the gear housing - just as described in the recall. The Car seems to always have a strange issue with power. I have taken it for all services and recall but nothing has every fixed that issue. From talking to other Ford fusion 2013-2014 owners the transmission is bad on these cars from the start. It would be bad to loose or have the transmission go out on any major road people could get hurt. I am now getting p0744,p0741. I believe it is related to other issue suck as car clutch assembly malfunction causing high rev because car pop into wrong gears while driving. This should be a ford issue and google search and you will find everyone who own a ford fusion having this problem.

My torque converter is going out in my 2014 FORD FUSION SE and it caused me to almost get t-boned twice and hit in the rear once. I pull out of the driveway and it cuts off and won't move. No engine light was on and that's a safety hazard. The dealer is telling me to continue to drive it and if it does it again take a video. The vehicle is getting looked at tomorrow as I will show the video I took too the dealership and they will actually take me seriously. I was told it was low on transmission fluid which is why I began driving it again and it happened two more times while getting it to the dealership. This could cause a hazard to others on the road and myself, it could cause injury or even death. I was so scared getting stuck in the middle of the road of oncoming traffic.
