The defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Forester and Sunseeker motorhomes. The park brake signal wire may not be connected to the house battery control center, which can allow the slideroom to extend during transit.
The risk: A slideroom unexpectedly extends increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will connect the signal wire to the battery control center, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 12, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-206-7600. Forest River's number for this recall is 34-1707.

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS

The defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Coachmen Galleria, Beyond, Forester, Sunseeker, and 2021-2024 Nova motorhomes, equipped with certain Cummins Onan QG 2800i, and Onan QG 2800i EVAP generator sets. The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the Injection Pump Module (IPM) may have inadequate clamp force, possibly resulting in a gasoline leak.
The risk: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Cummins Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel hose and clamps, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 17, 2023. Owners may contact Cummins at: (800) CUMMINS OR (800) 286-6467. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-206-7600, or Coachmen Class B customer service at 1-574-825-8602. The defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Coachmen Catalina, Cross Trail, Pursuit, Sportscoach, East to West Della Terra, Silver Lake, Forest River Forester, FR3, Sunseeker, Wildwood, 2022 Coachmen Adrenaline, Apex, Brookstone, Chaparral, Chapparral Lite, Clipper, Freedom Express, Independence Trail, Mirada, Spirit, Viking, Work and Play, East to West Ahara, Tandara, Forest River Aurora, Cardinal, Cedar Creek, Cherokee, Flagstaff, Georgetown, Ibex, Impression, Ozark, Puma, R-Pod, Rockwood, Sabre, Salem, Sandpiper, Sandstorm, Shockwave, Sierra, Solera, Stealth, Stealth Evo, Surveyor, Vengeance, Vibe, Wildcat, XLR Toyhauler, Prime Time Avenger, Crusader, Lacrosse, Sanibel, Tracer, Shasta Oasis, and Phoenix fifth wheel and travel trailers. The electric retractable awning has a welded seam on the fabric that may separate, potentially allowing the awning to drop beyond normal operation.
The risk: An awning that drops or extends beyond normal operation can increase the risk of injury.
The remedy: Dealers will replace the fabric roll or complete awning, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 17, 2022. Owners may contact the customer service numbers listed in the recall report for their designated model. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-1532. This recall supersedes and expands NHTSA recall number 22V-486.

Cannot get any information as to the status of the repair of this Mercedes Benz Sprinter Vans chassis. Recall was issued Mid March 2022 campaign# 2022030013p VIN[XXX] campaign Desc. PDGVADREH This is a completed Forest River Sunseeker 2400B RV on the Mercedes chassis and cannot be driven!! There are only 2400 units involved and the repair involves just a few small parts. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:REFRIGERATOR

According to a Furrion TSB "TB-220919": Irregular cooling performance has been reported on the identified refrigerators. The refrigerator compressor has been found to stop working and requires a “hard reset” by disconnecting power to reset cooling operation. On occasion, disconnecting power does not reset operation and the refrigerator requires service replacement of the control boards. This TSB may not be applicable for some vehicles.

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE; STRUCTURE

According to Ford Motor Company Recall 22V925: On your vehicle, the paint on your fuel tank may not have adhered properly and may peel. Extended peeling may expose the metal on the fuel tank and lead to long-term corrosion. Over time, corrosion in certain areas of the fuel tank may ultimately progress to a fuel vapor leak or a liquid fuel leak. If a fuel leak occurs due to corrosion, a malfunction indicator lamp may illuminate, or a fuel odor or liquid fuel may be observed. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. This is the final notification received from Ford.

The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), on some Ford E450 chassis may experience intermittent loss of signal at one of the wheels and display a fault on the information center of the dashboard. This fault should clear itself through normal operation of the vehicle. However, should the concern repeat, this document is produced as a dealer aid for customer satisfaction is wanted.

PARKING BRAKE; SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC

According to the Interim Recall Notice Received by Mercedes-Benz concerning 22V796: "Mercedes-Benz AG has determined that on certain Sprinter vehicles, a component of the park lock system might wear extraordinarily due to specific driver parking practices and impair safe parking of the vehicle. If the vehicle is not properly secured in accordance with parking instructions in the operator's manual (including usage of the parking brake), it cannot be ruled out that the vehicle might roll away from its parked position under certain circumstances. Thus, the risk of an accident could increase. The driver will not receive a warning due to the nature of the failure mechanism. It is important that the driver ensures that the manual parking brake is engaged to adequately secure the vehicle against rolling away. Additionally, the parking level "P" is only to be inserted when the vehicle is completely stationary. The customer can find precise information on the parking process and on correct vehicle securing in their operator manual. Owners who notice any issues with the automatic transmission park lock function may contact their nearest Mercedes-Benz service partner immediately and have an appointment arranged for the vehicle to be inspected."
