I HAVE ISSUES WITH MY CAR AND THE GAS TANK, CHARCOAL CANISTER AND VALVES. I HAVE HAD TO PAY OVER 1,000.00 TO HAVE THESE FIXED TWICE. I HAVE BEEN GETTING VERY SICK DRIVING MY CAR AND DO NOT FEEL THAT IT IS SAFE TO DRIVE. THE FUMES COME INTO MY CAR AND ARE VERY HEAVY, ESPECIALLY IN THE HEAT. I AM VERY CONCERNED FOR MY HEALTH AND MY SAFETY AND HAVE ALMOST GONE TO THE HOSPITAL. I HAVE HAD TO GO ON STEROIDS AND BREATHING MEDICATIONS FOR THE ISSUES. I HAVE SEEN SIMILAR COMPLAINTS BY MULTIPLE PEOPLE IN REGARDS TO THE SAME PROBLEMS. I WOULD LIKE SOME HELP WITH THIS AND HAVE FOUND THAT THE VALVE IS DEFECTIVE AND WILL OFTEN GET STUCK. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS. THANK YOU.[XXX]..UPDATED 05/07/15 *BF UPDATED 05/26/15*JB INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6). *TR

2000 HYUNDAI TIBURON PROBLEMS WITH SEAT BELTS. BOTH PASSENGER AND DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELTS DO NOT FUNCTION AS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO. THE BELTS GET STUCK IN THEIR HARNESSES AND YOU CAN'T PULL-OUT OR PUT IT BACK. YOU HAVE TO ADJUST THE HARNESS AND THE STUCK BELT TO BE ABLE TO GET IT TO WORK. THE CAR HAS ALREADY BEEN THROUGH ONE RECALL ON THIS ISSUE BUT THE REPAIR DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE. THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM SINCE THE FIRST DAY I BOUGHT THE CAR IN DECEMBER 2008. *TT

Manufacturer communications
A bulletin sent by a manufacturer to its dealers. Not a recall, and repairs are not necessarily free.
VISIBILITY; VISIBILITY/WIPER
This bulletin contains information about the proper removal of the windshield wiper blade protective cover on all models. If the protective cover is not removed correctly, there is a possibility of the rubber insert and rail spring becoming partially separated on the inner side of the wiper blade, which could lead to poor wiping performance and/or possible scratching of the windshield glass. Follow the procedure in this bulletin to properly remove the windshield wiper blade protective cover on all new wiper blades.
ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
This bulletin provides important checkpoint guidelines when performing engine oil and filter change services.
STRUCTURE:BODY
Hyundai applies a Paint Protection Film (PPF) on new vehicles before delivery to dealerships. It provides a barrier between the paint and contaminants, such as rail dust, acid rain, and industrial fallout. In rare cases, the paint can become clouded under the PPF. These spots are the result of moisture trapped between the PPF and the paint.
VISIBILITY
This bulletin provides information regarding condensation related to the accumulated moisture in the headlamp, rear combination lamp, daytime running lamp (DRL), or fog lamp. This TSB illustrates the various causes of condensation inside the lamp assembly. Lamp assembly replacement is NOT necessary in most cases. This condition can be eliminated by turning on the lamps with the engine running for several minutes or during normal driving operation.
ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
Follow the guidelines outlined in this bulletin to inspect and clean or replace certain components of the engine intake system accordingly during engine short block or sub-assembly replacement.
TIRES
Effective June 2, 2008, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 110 (FMVSS 110) established a threshold for correcting load carrying capacity information indicated on tire placards when vehicle weight has been increased before retail sale. This limit is the lesser of 1.5% of GVWR or 100 pounds. If the total added weight exceeds the lesser of the limit, a label must be added to the driver-side B-pillar within 25mm (1 inch) of the original tire placard.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.

Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
