The defect: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Jayco Designer, 2017-2021 Eagle HT, Eagle, Jay Feather, Jay Flight SLX, Jay Flight, North Point, Octane Superlite, Pinnacle, White Hawk, 2017-2020 Eagle HT, 2018-2021 Jay Flight Bungalow, 2017-2019 Octane, and 2019-2020 Eagle HTX travel trailers and fifth wheels equipped with a Winntec model 6020 two-stage propane regulator. The regulator may fail, causing an increase in propane pressure.
The risk: Increased propane pressure can enlarge the flames in gas appliances, increasing the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Dealers will replace the regulator and test the propane system for leaks, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 3, 2021. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

The defect: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Eagle, Eagle HT, NorthPoint, Pinnacle, Talon and Seismic fifth-wheel recreational trailers. The strap that secures the liquid propane (LP) gas bottle may separate from its buckle and no longer secure the propane tank.
The risk: An unsecured propane tank could detach from the trailer and increase the risk of a crash or leak propane and increase the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will replace the propane tank securing strap with a new strap that has the correct crimping, free of charge. The recall began on July 27, 2018. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901385.

THE DRIVER SIDE TIRES ARE MAKING CONTACT WITH THE WHEEL WELLS WHEN VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. VEHICLE IS LOADED WITHIN ALLOWED TOLERANCES. DAMAGE HAS OCCURRED TO THE WHEEL WELLS AT THIS POINT. THERE IS AN ACTIVE RECALL FOR THE SAME ISSUES FOR THE 2017 MODEL YEAR. COMPONENTS ARE THE SAME BETWEEN MODEL YEARS. AFTER VISITING FORUM WEBSITES THIS ISSUES IS PRESENT IN MY MODEL YEAR WITH MANY VEHICLE OWNERS. THE MANUFACTURER HAS DENIED CLAIMS TO FIX ISSUES CITING VEHICLE IS OUT OF WARRANTY. THIS ISSUE WAS FIRST REPORTED TO THE DEALERSHIP DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD.

MY WIFE IS HANDICAPPED FROM CANCER WITH A DOUBLE MASTECTOMY AND IS UNABLE TO PUSH THE TV DOWN INTO THE CABINET TO USE THE EMERGENCY WINDOW IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY AND SHE IS TRAPPED INSIDE THE TRAILER. ## VIN PASSED ## , ##*DT*DT*TP CONSUMER STATED FROM THE FLOOR TO THE TOP OF THE TV IS 62 INCHES AND THE TV IS SET BACK 18 INCHES FROM THE FRONT OF THE FIREPLACE. YOU HAVE TO LEAN FORWARD 18 INCHES REACH UP AND PUSH THE TV DOWN WITH 18 1/2 POUNDS OF PRESSURE. CARFAX CANNOT PROCESS REQUEST.
