CONSUMER STATES THAT "THE KING PIN HITCH ASSEMBLY WAS BREAKING LOOSE AND COMING APART. THE 6 INCH SEA CHANNEL ACROSS THE FRONT OF THE FIFTH WHEEL BROKE IN HALF, DOWN THE CENTER. THE BEDROOM FLOOR AREA DROPPED 4 INCHES." THE MANUFACTURER OF THE FRAME IS PROVIDING NO ASSISTANCE. *NLM THE KING PIN HITCH ASSEMBLY ON TRAILER BROKE LOOSE. THE EXTENSION FRAME WAS REPLACED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM.*MR

THERE WAS A CRACK IN THE FRONT BEAM, WHICH WAS CAUSED BY DRILLING TO PUT OTHER COMPONENTS INTO THE VEHICLE. *AK THE CONSUMER STATES THAT THE CRACK IS A RESULT OF A TOO LIGHT CHANNEL IRON AND THE DRILL HOLE COMBINED, WHEN THE RV DEALER INSTALLED A LELAND ENGINEERING EXTENDED HITCH ON A NEW SHORT BED PICKUP THIS WAS POSSIBLY THE FACTOR IN THE CRACK/BREAK. *SCC
