The defect: Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Jeep Wagoneer, 2024-2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, 2025 Jeep Wagoneer L, 2025-2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L, and 2026 Jeep Cherokee vehicles. Due to a software error, the tire pressure monitoring system may fail to detect low tire pressure and/or fail to illuminate the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring System."
The risk: A TPMS warning light that fails to notify the driver of low tire pressure increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will update the radio frequency hub software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning September 17, 2026. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 54D. The defect: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2023 Jeep Wagoneer, 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, and Jeep Wagoneer L vehicles. A software error may cause the transmission gear selection indicator not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 102, "Transmission shift lever sequence, starter interlock, and transmission braking effect."
The risk: A missing gear selection indicator may lead to unintended vehicle movement or a vehicle rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will update the shifter module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 20, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. The defect: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2023-2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles. A software error in the occupant restraint controller module may cause the delayed deployment of the side air bags during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 214, "Side Impact Protection."
The risk: Delayed air bag deployment during a crash increases the risk of injury.
The remedy: Dealers will update the occupant restraint controller module software, free of charge. Some owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 18, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 01D. Infotainment system with back up camera and comfort systems, hands free etc has a crack in the screen that occurred overnight with no severe changes in weather and no physical damage occurring to prompt large crack starting in the plastic surround and spidering into the glass screen. Unable to effectively use screen or back up camera or other safety features contained within the unit.

While driving 45mph along a straight, open highway my vehicle suddenly shifted itself to park and stopped itself abruptly. I was then unable to shift the car out of park or move the brake or gas pedal or turn off the vehicle. This lasted for approximately 15 minutes and the car would not let me open the doors. All the dashboard lights were illuminated and my driver display screen stated if I took my foot off the brake the car would reverse. Eventually after 15 minutes of trying to shift and turn off the car it did shut off.

Upon starting my vehicle, my dashboard began flashing errors. All the indicator lights were lighted up (power steering, engine, collision detection, traction). The mileage began blinking on and off. Both of the light indicators on my side windows (for blindspot detection) were continuously illuminated even though I was parked and no vehicles were next to me. The error messages that were flashing on my dashboard were: Service Electronic Stability Control, Service Power Steering, Active Lane Management Limited, and Blind Spot Alert Unavailable. I have pictures of all of this. Additionally, when I put the vehicle into reverse, another error message displayed but I didn't get a picture of this message. When I drove the vehicle down the road (less than half a mile), it sounded louder as if I was revving the engine but I was not. I pulled off to the side, turned my vehicle off and then back on again, but the same error messages and lights continued to happen. I am being told by the dealership that I am responsible for this electrical issue because my vehicle is out was warranty. This is a leased vehicle and there is 43k miles on my vehicle. I have kept up with all maintenance and shouldn't be responsible for the cost of fixing this issue because it's leased and not my fault. The manufacturer should be responsible for fixing issues with their vehicles.

No warning lamps were displayed relating to the recall. I was hit from behind while driving between 60 and 70MPH. I lost control and spun around twice before violently hitting a guard rail, perpendicular to the driver's side of my vehicle. The side/door airbags failed to deploy. My neck was thrown into the seatbelt and door. I suffered from partial vocal cord paralysis, tinnitus, dysphagia, loss of hearing, pain, and other symptoms due to the impact; my sternocleidomastoid and associated nerves being primarily affected. As a result I was out of work from May 13th, 2026 to July 3rd, 2026. I was not aware or notified about any recalls until after my accident. My vehicle was totalled.

Dead Battery. The Telematics Bix Module (TBM) is failing to properly shut off when the car is parked. Therefore it induces a parasitic drain on the battery. We have had the battery replaced by the dealer. This problem is known to affect 2022-2025 models.
