ENGINE – 1.5 GSE T4 MHEV - Malfunction Indication Light (MIL) P0016 Customers must experience a MIL illumination and the vehicle must exhibit/set the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC): ● P0016 - Crankshaft/camshaft Timing Misalignment - Bank 1 Sensor 1. Check the trouble codes in the Engine Control Unit (ECU). Apply this document if the trouble code as mentioned is set (P0016). Fix Engine Timing and replace the cam-to-cam guide rail (“snubber”)

Multiple Systems Repair Bundle Campaign Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination and the vehicle must exhibit/set the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC): ● P1A93-12 - Reversible Alternator : Power Electronics Fault - Motor Mode Out-Of-Action. Customers may also experience one or more of the following: ● Front seat recliner motor is not working. ● Ignition does not turn the engine off. ● Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM) - MIL ON. ● Engine cylinder head cover is damaged. ● Belt Start Generator (BSG) engine is not starting. ● Front camera collision warning message is displayed on the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). ● Headlamp low beam not working and the lens is stained. ● Oil leaking from the Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor. This bulletin involves performing multiple inspections based on the listed Customer Symptoms and possibly performing the associated Operations procedure.
