THERE WAS A SAFETY RECALL ON THE DEADBOLT LOCK CYLINDER. I WENT ON LINE AND FILLED OUT THE FORM TO GET THE REPLACEMENT. IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE DELIVERED IN 10-12 BUSINESS DAYS. WHEN IT DID NOT ARRIVE, I CALLED FASTEC INDUSTRIAL. THEY SAID THEY WERE EXPERIENCING EXTREMELY HIGH VOLUMES OF REQUESTS DUE TO THE RECALL, SO IT WAS TAKING LONGER THAN NORMAL. I WAITING A FEW MONTHS AND CALLED BACK. THEY SAID THEY WERE JUST GETTING TO THE FEBRUARY REQUESTS (WHICH WOULD BE MINE). SO I AM STILL CONTINUING TO WAIT. NOW IT HAS BEEN A LITTLE OVER 7 MONTHS! I AM TIRED OF WAITING. I THINK THAT IS A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF TIME. *TR

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
