While operating my brand new 2026 911 GT3 Touring manual with just 37 miles on the odometer, the clutch line suddenly separated from the slave cylinder. This caused an immediate losss of clutch pressure and hydraulic fluid. The slave cylinder violently disintegrated upon separation, spraying pressureized brake fluid and plastic debris from the slave cylinder into the bell housing. This debris and fluid instantly destroyed the starter motor, completely disabling the vehicle. The repair invoice shows that this cascade of events was started by the hydraulic line separation because a U clip on the hydraulic line was left open from the factory.
