Hello. I brought my Tesla Y to Tesla service local at 7077 W. Sahara Av., Las Vegas, NV. To fix noise in the breaks on Aug 28, 2025, After that on the same day i went to drive Tesla and I started feeling severe ear pressure, heart pressures, severe body pain from high EMF exposure, also severe electric shocks from the floor, seats, back of the seat, wheel, it has been constantly ongoing for already 6 six month since Aug 28, 2025. It’s when ever I am getting inside my car, driving, or just when it’s parked, I feel all that severe pain in the body, severe ear pressure, severe heart pressure, pain in hands, legs from high EMF exposure inside Tesla, also electric shocks from the floor, back of the seat, seat, wheel. My Tesla Y caused severe damaged t my health. I have all those symptoms and pain only when I am inside the car, when I am not in the car, I don’t feel any pain, and I don’t feel all of those severe symptoms and pain in my body. I have this car from 2024, it was perfectly fine, except that during hot season in Vegas, when the temperature is above 80 F, the glass roof got extremely hot, and it burned my head severely despite I cover with sun protector glass roof. But besides that I didn’t have any issues with my Tesla Y. Only after I brought my car to Tesla service on Aug 28. 2025, same day Tesla started causing me severe pain from High EMF and high Voltage causing electric shocks. I contacted local Tesla service many times and tried to address this issues. They didn’t help. I got response from Tesla manager at W. Sahara “ hope it will resolve by itself”:(( no one addressed this issue seriously. I noticed, every time I broght my Tesla Y to local Tesla services here in Las Vegas, the EMF exposure and electric shocks became even more extreme, worst like a 100 times more:(( I honestly after these horrific experience with Local Tesla services I DONT TRUST THOSE TESLA TECHS anymore. PLEASE HELP AND CONDUCT HIGH EMF AND HIGH VOLTAGE INSPECTIONS FOR MY CAR!

One day I was exiting the vehicle, and as I swung my leg out to get out of the car the outboard panel broke. Nothing caught on it, it just broke as my weight shifted. As the technician came out to inspect it for repair, it was claimed that this was a common repair. The seat controls are on this panel, so when this happens, this means wires are loose, while the seat automatically moves for use. This changes how the seat positions itself, and the panel interferes with the door closing properly, the seat position.

On July 22, 2025, at about 6:30 PM in a western suburb of Illinois, on a hot, humid, sunny evening after my car had sat in direct sun all day, my 2022 Tesla Model Y Long Range (Dual Motor AWD) suffered a total electrical failure. As I walked up, the car unlocked automatically with my phone key as usual. I placed my dog in the back seat, closed that door, and immediately tried to open the driver’s/front door—but it would not open. The phone key failed, and the backup key card at the B-pillar also failed to unlock the car. I then tried resetting and reconnecting my phone key through the Tesla app, but nothing worked. There were no 12-V or low-voltage warnings on the display or app. I could not find a phone number or live help in the Tesla app; my son and I searched YouTube for guidance but could not fix it. My dog was trapped inside in dangerous heat, so I called 911. Police first tried a slim-jim tool without success and then broke the driver’s window to reach in and open the front door, but the rear doors and windows remained inoperative. The dog was in the car for 30 to 45 minutes before the window was broken. Once inside, I found that the front seats would not move forward or backward, none of the windows would not roll down, and the rear doors would not open from inside. It took another 30 to clear enough glass to evacuate my 75-lb dog through the front seats; we both sustained cuts, and I sprained my ankle. The event was traumatic and posed a serious heat-injury risk (~85 °F ambient, interior >110 °F within minutes). Police documented the incident. Tesla Service Center (Naperville IL) later confirmed a 12-V failure as the cause, replaced the 12-V battery with an upgraded model under warranty, and repaired the driver’s window and door trim. Tesla Insurance was notified the next morning but closed the claim and covered repairs under warranty. No warnings appeared until the following morning, when a low-voltage alert appeared in my Tesla app when being serviced.

on July 19, 2025 my 10-year old daughter entered the back seat and shut the door. When I (her mother) went to get into the drivers door the electricity in the car completely shut down locking my daughter in the vehicle. There were no visible icons or labels showing where the emergency/manual latch was. She was hystercial and heating up quickly. We called Tesla roadside assistance and the agent spent 10-15 minutes explaining how to get out of a Model 3 (we had a model Y). He then proceeded to tell us that he did not know how to advise her how to get out. He told us not to break the window and to search it on Google. when we asked for his name he would not provide it and he displayed hesitation and resistance to connect us with his superior. We explained that he was dealing with a potentially fatal situation and he displayed ZERO sense of urgency or compassion for the situation. We were able get her out of the vehicle after researching it online. But Tesla did not provide any guidance to help. Our car was at 80% charge and we did not get any low voltage notification or warning that the auxiliary battery was dead or low. My daughter was dehydrated and is forever traumatized by this situation and could have been seriously harmed. Tesla does not provide a standard vehicle delivery process when you purchase or lease a vehicle from them. They do not provide any tutorial or notification on what to do in the case you lose electrical power. The manual emergency latch is not labelled at all. You would never know it was there unless you search online. We sent an email to Tesla notifying them of the situation and they never responded. We even shared this with the service manager who replaced the battery and he said it is a common occurrence and brushed it off.

I saw that the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating the Tesla Model Y (2021 and over) due to the electronic door handles becoming inoperative. I am happy and relieved to see this is being looked into since this recently happened to my vehicle a couple of months ago. The rear passenger side door unlocked initially for me to put by [XXX] old into the car seat but when I went to open the driver's side door, the handles would not open. I tried all other door handles and all were locked. Luckily, I had not shut the door next to my child's car seat yet, otherwise it would've locked my child inside the vehicle. I opened a ticket with Tesla and they sent a technician out. He said the low voltage battery needed to be replaced and when this happens all electric door handles will be unresponsive and locked. However, the vehicle never showed any warning or notification leading up to this. He said when the 12V battery fails, the only way to unlock the unresponsive doors is to use the manual release inside the car or jump the 12V battery under the frunk (assuming you have the right jumping cables outside of the car). The Tesla technician said it is a flaw in the Model Y design and he said I would've had to break a window to get my child out if they are not old enough to locate and release the manual door release inside the vehicle. This poses a huge safety risk to parents with young children. I really hope Tesla implements another emergency way to release the doors from outside the vehicle to avoid young children from being locked inside. Every few months, my car receives a warning stating "Front passenger safety restraint system fault". This error noted that there are issues related to checking the front passenger seatbelt/airbag status, and that they may not work as expected. Tesla has tried to repair this 4 times on my car already, but the error keeps coming back after a few months. This is now the 5th time this is happening in my car over the 3 years I've owned it. The date/mileage listed is when this issue first started occuring.

We bought a 2022 Tesla Y performance in August 2023. Love the car but customer service in the service center is and has been beyond horrible and frustrating. We had a back seat (driver side) panel that was not snapped in properly. In November 2023 we took it to a service center so they could fix it. They said they needed to order the part and they would send someone to come to our house to fix it. On 2 different occasions someone came to our house to fix it. The first service tech replaced the bottom piece but it wasn’t snapping in securely so he said they need to order the middle piece. The 2nd service tech came to the house and said they did not send him with the correct part and he will schedule an appt for us to come to the service center. We scheduled an appt to go to ant other service center (an hour away) and they had our car for a couple hours and gave us a loaner. When my husband went to pick it up they did not fix the panel and it was not snapped in correctly. We have a picture of it. They said they would have to order the part and schedule us to come back to fix it. We went back and they said it would be 2 hours and my husband was already waiting an hour. They did not fix it and we left. Very rude customer service.

Driver seat constantly moving forward and will not move or stay backwards. Every 20-30 seconds the seat will move/adjust on its own and we cannot move the seat back. The seat moving on its own and not allowing us to move it back to normal or regular driving position leaves us in an unsafe position putting our chest right up to the steering wheel because it keeps pushing the seat forward. There were no accidents that resulted from this thankfully, no message or warning lights or lamps. Just happened randomly out of no where and will not go back to normal driving position.

Most frequent when coming over and overpass or small hill on the interstate. ~5 time in a day and of travel. Brake are apply and vehicle slows from 80 to sometime as slow as 60 in a couple seconds. No visible hazards or vehicle on the road at the time. Very scary and dangerous. After having strapped our kids to their car seats, my daughter had her feet resting on the rails of the driver seat in front of her and her feet were trapped and squished really hard when the driver seat started to automatically adjust between my driver profile and my husband's profile. I am 5'3" and he is 6'3" so his profile has the seat further back than mine. My daughter started to scream and cry immediately as we tried to quickly reset the driver profile to mine so she could free both of her feet. She had slight bruising and soreness after the incident. This is reproducible and the only way to prevent was to delete my husband's driver profile to avoid having his phone trigger the self adjusting mechanism when he opens the driver door. The vehicle has not been inspected for this issue by Tesla or any one else. We believe this is a feature that is by design but it poses a risk to anyone sitting in the back and unable to rest their feet on the floor such as a kids in their car seats. There are no warnings, messages about not resting your feet on the seat rails and the seat doesn't stop and doesn't detect if something is on the rails. I couldn't find a way for the driver profile to be locked to a single driver and be manually triggered for any other driver. I tried to search how to report this to Tesla and I couldn't find an obvious way to do it. The number listed in the manuals doesn't have an option for this. I couldn't find an option to report via the Tesla app.

1. Whoever designed the seats never sat more than 2 hours straight in them and is most likely below 150 lbs with the body shape of a petite person. Damaged coccyx and lower backs since inception of idea. Insanity will ensue after long periods of travel (+2hrs) in rear seating and extended third row seating for adults and children. You get more seating comfort from a Nissan than a Tesla. 2. Windshield wiper sensitivity lowers when using manually then activating Auto. Sometimes sensitivity goes down with autopilot. Auto wiper sensitivity not constant. 3. If you have more than 4 people in your family, do not buy a model S3Y 4. Bad panels which also affect steering column, with squeaking, why is that not a lemon? 5. Long range below 32F falls to half its mileage per full charge. Proper trip charging should be at 10% to 15% more than the minimum 0% for trip charge. 6. Autopilot forces high beams whenever there is fog. Autopilot will never engage on curves, only straight aways 7. Supercharger long trip navigation will not allow filtering locations with bathrooms or trashcans nearby. Walking far distances to find restrooms and trashcans are a normal thing. Teslas not meant for taking long trips. 8. Signage for charging misleading, "10 to 30 minute parking" will only charge 10 to 50 KW max while "vehicle charging only" will charge the advertised supercharger max output. 9. No climate control in third row for MY, safety hazard and human rights issue.

My Tesla provided an in car warning message on June 28 stating that the “front passenger safety restraint system fault” exists. I immediately created a service request (the same day) and included pictures of the fault message. On July 6th, the Tesla service team stated that the appointment required a service center visit (which is not an option when making the appointment originally) and scheduled the appointment for July 25. On July 25, I took the car into the service center. A day later, Tesla confirmed an issue with the OCS module that required a new front passenger seat be installed. Tesla could not provide a date the new seat would be available and let me drive off with the vehicle. I made a follow up appointment on August 16th. On the day of the appointment, the Tesla service team confirmed that the replacement seat was not yet available and they still did not know when it would be. It has now been almost two months since the original alert and despite my proactive efforts, Tesla cannot tell me when this serious safety issue with my vehicle will be repaired. Tesla is allowing its customers to continue to drive vehicles with critical safety issues without any urgency in the repair.

Tesla Model Y passenger airbags are armed automatically based on the weight in the seat. The manual states the airbag should be on with a person weighing above 100 lbs. The airbag does not turn on consistently for my wife who weighs about 120 lbs. About 80% of the time the airbag remains off. Even when the airbag is on, sometimes it will turn off from a deceleration approaching a stop sign. Took the car in for a service at the Tesla service center and they say airbag staying off is "normal" for a 120 lbs person. They advised we tilt the seat cushion down in the back to help activate the weight sensor. The passenger weight sensor or the program logic of the car is not reliable to turn on the airbag for my wife consistantly.

I got hit very hard by a seat. Here is what happened: I was sitting in the right-side-2nd-row seat while trying to figure out how to adjust the left-side-2nd-row seat position in order to accommodate a child seat and look for a missing item. I had not brought in the child seat yet, I was still playing around with the controls to see if I understood how the seats could adjust and move. I couldn't figure out how to fold the seat down. The button at the top of the left-seat did not fold the seat. I thought that the 2nd-row-middle seat back rest might be blocking the folding, so I was able to release the middle-back-rest and folded that down. I crawled over to the left seat and searched around the side and found the button that could be pressed. With only a slight push, the seat released and very quickly came down and whacked me in the head, snapping my neck a bit. The hit was pretty hard, and it came at me very fast. I couldn’t really react. I was pinned briefly. My head hurt a bit, so I had to sit in the house for 2 hours to let the shock settle. On hindsight, I am lucky that the metal rod that connected to the middle seat did not whack me in the skull at that force, since I had exposed it by folding the middle back-rest down. I also think that the spring force might be too excessive, if my kid had triggered that while on the seat, the child might have been seriously injured. I may have been too complacent due to prior experience with other vehicles releasing the seat to fold from the top.
