The defect: Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling various 2003-2018 Crossroads, Dutchmen, and Keystone recreational trailers equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V755-5127.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. The risk: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
The remedy: Keystone will notify owners and instruct them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2018. The defect: Crossroads RV is recalling certain model year 2012-2014 Redwood recreational vehicles manufactured August 26, 2011, through August 14, 2013. While the vehicle is moving, shifting cargo may accidentally activate the switch used to deploy the power awning.
The risk: The awning may unfurl unexpectedly increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Crossroads RV will notify owners, and dealers will install a cover over the switches, free of charge. The recall began on October 7, 2013. Owners may contact Crossroads RV by email at "[email protected]," or by phone at 1-855-226-7496.

The defect: CROSSROADS RV IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2012 REDWOOD RECREATIONAL VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM AUGUST 26, 2011, THROUGH JANUARY 18, 2012, EQUIPPED WITH A HYDRAULIC TRAILER BRAKE PUMP. THE HYDRAULIC PUMP COULD FAIL AND RESULT IN A LOSS OF BRAKING IN THE TRAILER.
The risk: A LOSS OF BRAKING CAN LEAD TO LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE TRAILER INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH, SERIOUS INJURIES, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
The remedy: CROSSROADS RV WILL NOTIFY OWNERS, AND DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE HYDRAULIC PUMPS FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON FEBRUARY 17, 2012. OWNERS MAY CONTACT CROSSROADS RV AT 1-888-226-7496.

INTERSTATE SPEED WITH 5TH WHEEL RV WITH ORIGINAL GOODYEAR MARATHON ST235/80R16 TIRES WITH APPROX. 5000 MILES ON THEM. DRIVER SIDE TIRE BLEW AND CAUSED $4500 WORTH OF DAMAGE TO RV. TWO MONTHS LATER (8-13-14) IT HAPPENED AGAIN, THIS TIME ON PASSENGER SIDE. GOODYEAR PAID MY DEDUCTIBLE WITHOUT QUESTION. BUT THESE TIRES SEEM TO BE HAVING TREAD SEPARATION AT LEGAL HIGHWAY SPEEDS AND PROPER TIRE INFLATION AND LOAD LIMITS. *TR

2012 REDWOOD RW36RE TRAILER. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE AWNING PROBLEMS RECALL NOTICE AND SEEKS REIMBURSEMENT. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED WHEN HE TURNED ON THE INTERSTATE, HE HEARD A NOISE. WHEN HE LOOKED OUT THE EXTENDED MIRRORS, HE SAW THE AWNING HAD COME OUT. THERE WAS A VERY STRONG WIND, SO BY THE TIME HE WAS ABLE TO STOP, THE BRACES HAD BENT. THE CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO TIE THE AWNING DOWN AND MANAGED TO GET HOME. THE CONSUMER CALLED A SERVICE DEALER, WHO TOOK THE AWNING. THE SERVICE DEALER CALLED THE CONSUMER AND INFORMED HIM, THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT WILLING TO ASSIST, BECAUSE THERE WAS NO WAY, THE AWNING COULD HAVE CO ME OUT ON ITS OWN. THE CONSUMER EVENTUALLY HAD THE RV FIXED. THE CONSUMER REFERENCED RECALL # 13V372000. *JB

The Detroit? special tools group has developed and released a robust NOx sensor socket, W470589060900. The socket will aid in the removal and installation of the NOx sensors.
