Owner complaintsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

Safety recallsA safety recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a federal motor vehicle safety standard. Recall repairs are free. Whether a specific vehicle is covered depends on its VIN — a recall listed for a model year does not necessarily apply to every vehicle of that year.

InvestigationsNHTSA opens an investigation to examine whether a safety defect may exist. An open investigation is not a determination that a defect exists, and many investigations close without a recall. Investigations can, however, lead to one.
0
Crash or fire reportedComplaints whose submitter recorded that a crash or a fire occurred. These are the reporter's own answers on the NHTSA form, not verified findings.

The defect: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Entegra Anthem, Aspire, Cornerstone, and Reatta XL motorhomes. The pedestal mounting plate on the passenger's seat may be improperly welded, causing the plate to separate and the seat assembly to loosen or detach. As such, these seat assemblies fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, "Seating Systems" and number 210, "Seat belt assembly anchorages."
The risk: A loose or detached seat assembly increases the risk of injury.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect for a missing weld and replace the pedestal as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 11, 2024. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903602.

The risk: A blank instrument cluster display may be missing critical information such as the vehicle's speed and warning lights, which can increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will update the control module software, and reroute and secure the duct work, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 22, 2021. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

The defect: Entegra Coach (Entegra) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Anthem, Aspire, Insignia, and Reatta XL Class A vehicles. The sealing washer may not seat correctly in the pilot bore holes, allowing the high pressure fuel rail assembly to leak.
The risk: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Entegra will work with Spartan and Cummins to inspect the rail threads and fuel lines, and replace the rail as necessary, free of charge. Cummins began to notify owners July 30, 2021. Entegra owner notification letters began September 3, 2021. Owners may contact Entegra Coach customer service at 1-800-517-9137.

The Trimark ignition component failed and was subject of a 2020 recall that was not completed by the dealer who sold me this RV. The failed Trimark was returned to Spartan Chassis. It is a 2020 recall item. Component inspected and replaced by RV Repair Service, new Trimark installed and worked. There were no warnings, when it failed there was no way to start the RV and it was stuck for a week where I last shut the engine off.

DEF head sensor. 5,800 miles on Spartan K2 450 Chassis (2020 Entegra Aspire). Have been told replacement part will not be available until mid-August. I was at an RV dealership when check engine light came on. Spoke to Spartan tech and he informed me that the DEF Head sensor was bad and that the vehicle would go into "derate mode". I was going to take my grandson on a camping trip the next week but had to cancel that. Additionally, was going to pick up my mother who is suffering early stage dementia in late July 2021. That's not happening either. This is the RV season right now and I am going to lose half of it due to this issue. And as I understand it there is nothing wrong with the DEF its just a bad sensor. What a crock of [XXX]! PARTS OF THIS DOCUMENT HAVE BEEN REDACTED TO PROTECT PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
