VARIOUS WINDOWS IN THE COACH ARE CLOUDY AND CAN NOT BE CLEANED , IMPAIRING VISION. I HAVE TRIED TO CLEAN THEM BUT IT APPEARS TO BE IN BETWEEN THE WINDOW PANES. I WAS PULLING OFF OF THE FREEWAY OFF RAMP AND WHEN I WENT TO TURN ON TO THE MAIN ROAD, I WAS NEARLY T-BONED BY AN 18 WHEELER. THE CLOUDINESS REFLECT ONCOMING VEHICLE HEAD LIGHTS TO BE IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION THEN WHAT THEY ACTUALLY ARE. IT IS DANGEROUS TO BE ON THE ROAD WITH A VEHICLE IN THIS CONDITION. I HAVE SEEN LOTS OF FORUMS WITH THE SAME ISSUE THAT I AM HAVING. I CAN SEND PICTURES IF THIS CAN GO ANY FARTHER TO GETTING SOMETHING DONE ABOUT THIS. *TR

NOTICE BY FLEETWOOD ABOUT THE BATTERY CABLE RECALL. TRIED TO GET IT FIXED AT RNR RV IN LIBERTY LAKE WASHINGTON. THEY DID NOT HAVE PARTS, BUT ORDERED THE PARTS. WE ARE FULL TIME RVERS AND WERE UNABLE TO TAKE THE MOTOR HOME BACK. THEY GAVE US THE PARTS. TRIED TO GET THE PROBLEM FIXED AT ANOTHER RV REPAIR SHOP THAT IS A FLEETWOOD DEALER. THIS DEALER TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD NOT HONOR THE RECALL AND THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE RECALL. THERE IS NOTHING IN ANY OF THE INFORMATION THAT I HAVE THAT SAYS THERE IS A DROP DEAD DATE TO HAVE THE PROBLEM FIXED OR THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE FIX. *TR

WE HAVE A 2007 FLEETWOOD DISCOVERY. IT HAS HAD SOME ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS THAT WERE REPAIRED WHILE IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY. WE HAD NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT SINCE NOV 2008. IN JUNE WHILE CAMPING MY HUSBAND WENT TO OPEN AN OUTSIDE BIN AND GOT SHOCKED. IF YOU TOUCH THE OUTSIDE OF THE RV ANY WHERE YOU RECEIVE AN ELECTRICAL SHOCK IF IT IS PLUGGED IN. IT IS NOT SAFE TO USE. THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN AND WE HAVE NO IDEA HOW ALL OF A SUDDEN IF THE RV IS PLUGGED IN IT SHOCKS YOU. *TR

Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
