The contact owns a 2016 Fleetwood Storm built on a 2016 Ford Motorhome chassis. The contact stated while driving 35 MPH, the floorboard was separated from the RV. As a result of the failure, the contact could see the road below. The RV was taken to an independent mechanic, who was unable to provide a specific diagnosis but determined that the floorboard had become detached from the RV. The RV was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 3,000.

The wall and floor have repeatedly separated from the chassis to the point light shows between the wall and floor and the dash moves up and down uncontrollably. Fleetwood did attempt to repair the problem under warranty, but the fix was inadequate, and the problem continues to surface. As of now the visible wall separation extends from the passenger-side front end to behind the door and may go much further back and I am concerned that the body may completely separate from the chassis when in transit.

DEALERS OF THE NEED TO INSPECT, AND IF NECESSARY, CORRECT THE WIRING ATTACHED TO THE BATTERY ISOLATION MANAGER TO ALLOW RECHARGING OF THE AUXILIARY BATTERIES VIA THE CHASSIS ALTERNATOR. Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
