The defect: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, and 2022-2023 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, F-550 SD, and F-600 SD vehicles. The windshield wiper arms may break, causing the wipers to fail.
The risk: Windshield wiper failure can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the wiper arms, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 5, 2026. The defect: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2022 F-Super Duty F250, F350, F450, F550, 2021-2022 F600, and 2022 F750 vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 24V957. Biodiesel deposits may form on the pump drivetrain roller components, which could lead to failure of the high pressure fuel pump.
The risk: High pressure fuel pump failure can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will update the powertrain control module (PCM) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed mailed April 7, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26S17. The defect: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2026 F-150, 2022-2026 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, F-550 SD, Maverick, 2024-2026 Ranger, 2023-2026 F-600 SD, 2022-2027 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, and 2026 E-Transit vehicles. When towing a trailer, the integrated trailer module (ITRM) may lose communication with the vehicle, possibly causing a loss of brake and turn signal lights, or a loss of brake function. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, " Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
The risk: Trailer lights or brakes that do not function can reduce the driver’s ability to control the trailer and decrease the trailers visibility to other road users, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: The integrated trailer module software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 25, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26C10. After updating Manufacturer Recall Number25SA8, My backup camera and all other cameras are not working. Ford is refussing to replace the Module B free of charge. Looks like I'm going to have to pay then go after them to get my money back. They keep trying to update and the updates are not working. Everything was working as it should be it went to the dealership. Now it is a seroius safty as I have no cameras at all.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-450. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was a lot of play in the steering wheel. No warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the steering wheel was approximately an inch loose on both sides. The contact stated that the failure occurred while driving out of state. The vehicle was driven to the residence. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or a dealer. The contact referenced an unknown recall with a similar failure; however, the VIN was not associated with the recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 90,200.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-450 SD. The contact stated that while driving at 25 MPH and depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle failed to respond and shut down unexpectedly. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was restarted and operated as intended. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed, and it was determined that the fuel system needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. Additionally, the contact stated that the infotainment system failed to display an image of all the cameras as needed. There was no warning light illuminated. Display showing cameras (ie backup, side views, bed, and hitch) freeze in a blue screen and does not change until you restart vehicle. Going in drive does not fix. Also if you switch to bed camera while driving ( to check the load) it freezes or locks to a blue screen and requires you to restart to display radio or anything other than the blue screen, which means finding a safe spot to stop and restart the vehicle while on the interstate.

The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to pull over to the side of the road. The vehicle was able to restart, and the contact resumed driving. The contact stated that the failure recurred while driving on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that both batteries had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000. The VIN was not available.

The vehicles DEF system malfunctioning issue causes a warning to illuminate on the dash stating the “Speed Will Be Limited To 50 MPH in 50 Miles” but the DEF Fluid is and was in fact near full or full. When this incident happened I did not stop after the 50 miles had lapsed and the vehicle eventually began to slow down on I-80 going Westbound and caused numerous of vehicles(Cars, Trucks, Semis) to be forced to go around me to avoid hitting my vehicle where I was pulling an RV. In order to reset the system I had to pull to the side of the road where there was barely a shoulder to pull over to and turn my vehicle off then wait for some time then restart the vehicle. Road traveling conditions on I-80 is 80 MPH and this issued raised a tremendous safety concern for me. The issue has been ongoing since winter 2023. I brought this to the dealership attention because there is some sort of system/computer issue but they blamed it on my batteries. Then it happened to my neighbor and he has a 2019 Ford F-350 SuperDuty 6.7L Powerstroke Diesel with new batteries.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM

Some 2021-2026 Ford/Lincoln vehicles may exhibit various symptoms including but not limited to the auto start/stop system not operating as intended with a "Check Charging System" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) while the charging system is operating properly with no charging related diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) stored. This may be due to someone using an aftermarket programmer to change the body control module (BCM) configuration to disable the auto start/stop system or perform other unsupported programming modifications. To correct this condition on F-150 and Bronco vehicles, download and run the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) application titled "BCM-Charging System Configuration Correction". Running this application will determine if the BCM configuration was modified by the customer and if so, provide the option to return the configuration back to factory settings. For other vehicle models exhibiting concerns related to unsupported aftermarket BCM programming, submit a Technical Support Request (TSR) requesting support to revert the BCM configuration
