2019 Honda Accord Fuel system Problems

I am not sure if this would be considered an engine or electrical issue, but my 2019 Honda Accord sport loses power at takeoff. Press the gas all the way to the floor but still lags at take-off. I have to pull over, turn off the engine, restart then go which is a huge safety issue and is very dangerous. Also, all of the dash lights are on which causes all of the safety tools, sport mode, cruise control, all road assist tools, and auto start to be disabled. This has been an issue for about 3 years, and every dealer tells me that there is a recall on these items, but when I look up my vin, it says my vehicle is not included in any of the recalls listed. Even though all of the things happening are signs of the recall issued. Please help me in what I need to do to get my vehicle included in this recall and get my vehicle back to safety requirements.

American Honda Motors Co is recalling Honda accord turbos for fuel pump failure. Mine 2019 Honda accord 1.5 turbo failed High-Pressure Fuel Pump on 8/12/2026 and Miami lakes Honda service center charged me to replace the High-Pressure Fuel Pump. I requested Honda corporation the reimbursement and the refused because they say it's caused by cranking the vehicle, they let me know I can't crank/start the vehicle because it damages the pump (I have the email they sent me for confirmation.) and repair invoice as well. Also, the car has been smelling gasoline, The pump developed cracks in the solenoid core, which lead to fuel leaks, fuel smell while idling or driving, and an increased risk of fire, crash, or injury. I'm just requesting the reimbursement.

The dealership completely omitted and ignored this life-safety issue when presented.STRUCTURAL WHEEL COMPROMISE & LOSS OF CONTROL: Dealership-provided third-party wheels were reinstalled with a total failure to mask off or mill down critical mating surfaces. This left an uneven layer of powder coating directly between the rims, hubs, and lug seats, causing severe tolerance variances, rotational runout, chassis vibration, and severe tire cupping. Furthermore, high-temperature thermal baking has structurally degraded the cast aluminum alloy wheel centers under load.SAFETY SYSTEM BLACKOUT (THE DITCH INCIDENT): Because the un-milled wheel faces left the chassis unstable and fighting steering inputs, the vehicle failed to stabilize during a minor defensive steering maneuver to miss a deer. The car entered a ditch and impacted a signpost with the driver-side mirror. I'm in [XXX] and just bought this 2019 honda accord unaware all Hondas 2018-2022 are lemon specially accord turbo 1.5 I was fully scammed. [XXX] rains everyday, so every time the car gets wet all safety warning lights, all sensor lights turn on and the vehicle stalls leaving me in the middle of the street and unable to drive. This situation start happening since they updated ADAS SW PUD software sensors on XXX also replaced fuel pump that failed, I replaced the battery and still the same, some people say its an electrical problem others say its the turbo charger others say its the ABS module others say its the front radar that need to be cleaned others say its the fuel injectors others say its the head gasket others say connectors get wet. I'm suffering from anxiety and depression because of this, and unable to afford al these expenses, I'm asking for Honda to fix tall this mess and compensation for my emotional distress. Vehicle caused a SEVERE drivability condition while at highway speeds by sputtering, losing power and auxiliary driver's systems becoming degraded. We were able to drive the vehicle in limp mode to a near service station. They ran diagnostics and determined that there were multiple secondary events affecting the ADAS system. They also checked the battery and determined it was marginally good. We managed to drive the vehicle in degraded mode to our home and we changed the battery the following day. Upon doing so, all affected systems became available again and the vehicle's driveability profile was restored. This behavior is incredibly unsettling and UNSAFE. A vehicle that is so sensitive to electrical fluctuations should have BETTER warning systems that would prevent, or at least advise the driver, that an unsafe condition will occur unless the battery is promptly replaced. This behavior could easily cause an accident if the driver is unprepared to react to the vehicle sudden and unpredictable shutdown of engine power and safety systems. This needs to be investigated and corrective measures need to be promptly proposed to affected vehicle.

I was driving on the highway in Michigan, the speed limit is 70 mph. All of a sudden, I noticed that my car acceleration was not working. It ended up my engine misfired and in doing so, I could not go more than 20 mph on the actual highway!!! it was absolutely terrifying, even when I put on my emergency lights, I had to find a place to safely pull aside. I still had to pull out in front of someone to try to get off the exit, so pulling out in front of someone at 20 mph on the highway was petrifying. Once, I finally was able to pull into a safe place. I immediately called my insurance company and Honda about the misfiring of my engine. My car was then towed to a Honda dealership, where technicians diagnosed a blown head gasket caused by coolant leaking into a cylinder. The only warning light was the “check engine” flashing light when I was unable to drive more than 20 mph. My vehicle went limp. The repair required replacement of the head gasket at significant personal expense About $6k +.

My car was stalling on the highway not going over 40, a perfectly maintained 88k mile car that is stock and only used for work and light leisure. The weak engine head gasket is to blame for coolant seeping into cyclinder 3. A very known defect with the 1.5 turbocharged engines recently. The safety of me and passengers was at risk because that’s a 50mph+ highway and my car didn’t go to 50. Yes the problem was confirmed by dealership / manufacturer. Zero warning lights to this day.

I can’t drive the car normal have to drive 60mph or under the radio went out and Honda can’t seem to figure out why so I can’t connect CarPlay. Myself and my kids are at risk due to the car randomly cutting off at any given time. I took it to Honda twice and my car has not been checked they constantly say they’re backed up but don’t have any rentals in stock. Can’t get the car inspection done because the lights are on. No they’re were none the light randomly popped up and said it was a camshaft sensor piece I got that change and the lights are still on. Took it to a mechanic to have it diagnosed and they’re stating it’s the turbo. Which is pretty annoying the car maintenance is don’t regularly and I’ve only had it for a year and a half.

While driving my 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid at highway speed, the engine suddenly suffered catastrophic failure. The engine block ruptured, leaving a large visible hole with internal engine components exposed. Oil was expelled into the engine bay and ignited/burned briefly. This occurred without prior warning at highway speed and created a sudden loss-of-propulsion hazard. The vehicle has approximately 48,500 miles and has had regular on-time maintenance via Honda dealership. No warnings or other symptoms were active prior to engine rupture event. Fire dept & NYS police arrived on scene prior to being towed. The vehicle is currently preserved at Sussex Honda dealer for inspection and awaiting diagnosis.

10th Gen Honda Accord has a major engine design flaw allowing coolant to pass through the gasket mixing with fuel in the cylinders causing premature head gasket repair which also puts the injectors under immense stress due to high compression. While driving my 2019 Honda accord to the dealership for inspection. All the lights started flashing on the dash. Highlighting - Critical failure detected please stop driving when safe. After a few mins the car’s infotainment system shut off no electrical activity and the car shut off mid drive. Luckily, it was in the morning and not during peak traffic congestion. Had I been going on the expressway I could’ve harmed myself, or someone else. This is highly unacceptable that a car with only 96k miles has a serious engine issue like this. I have maintained the oil changes at the required intervals, changed the fuel pump under recall, tires, brakes etc. After towing to the dealership. Diagnostics were performed and it was confirmed that the coolant was empty and radiator low. Which then prompted the dealer to perform a borescope test for the cylinders and it was found that cylinder 3 had a misfire and was leaking coolant into the cylinders causing premature wear on the gasket as well. The car is out of warranty and the service advisor said to me that they had another Honda just like mine with the same issue. This isn’t an isolated incident and many owners with the 10th gens have the same exact issue nationwide and Honda turns a blind eye and expects us to pay over 6,000 for the repair it’s a total scam! They are making money hand over fist without any recall and just scamming their customers. This is truly unacceptable and should be investigated immediately and Honda reprimanded!

This matches the exact failure profile of NHTSA Recall Numbers 23V-858, 21V-215, and 20V-314 (Honda Campaigns KGC/KGD). This defect causes the vehicle to lose power unexpectedly, creating an immediate crash hazard on active roadways. 2. BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) DEFECT: The vehicle is suffering from critical electrical disruptions, resulting in erratic component failures including [mention any specific symptoms you have, e.g., malfunctioning windshield wipers, defrosoter failure, rear-view camera blacking out, or power window errors]. When driving home one night the dash board in the car all of a sudden hade a lot of warning lights come on. I brought it to my mechanic to have a look at it and he suggested to change the spark plugs and the coils which was done and he cleared the codes. About two days later I went to go to work and once again all the warning lights on the the dash board come on and it wouldn't drive over 5 MPH. The mechanic went deeper into the problem he said it was cylinder # 3 that had a misfire and the fuel injectors needed to be changed which was done($1,000 later). A week went buy no lights on the dash came on but it has a rough start and when you get to about 40 MPH the car starts to hastate to move. this time i brought it Rick Case Honda to have it looked at and they are telling me it is now the head gasket on cylinder # 3 has a hair line crack and needs to be changed ($7,400) To remove and replace the head gasket. This happened over multiple weeks between bowering cars waiting for parts. Now i have find a way to pay a $7,400 bill

Upon recent repairs completed by an Official Honda licensed dealership for the fuel pump due to the related issue of stalling, misfiring, insufficient fuel economy and safety concern. My vehicle has continued to stall, misfire or idle extremely rough. Upon local investigation the error code P0203 and P0303 have populated as the most recent issue. No longer allowing me to drive the vehicle as it remains in limp mode. Previously error codes such as P0304 and P0302 as well as the associated error codes for the Injector Circuits indicating “open” have previously been detected intermittently and now permanently. In previous events within the last 3 months I have been stranded on highways due to the same stalling, misfiring and limp mode issue after I have previously been inspected by a Honda dealership and promised the issues would resolve. Unfortunately driving at respectable highway speeds and even local city limits my safety as well as my child and spouse’ safety have been put at risk due to the sudden deceleration caused by consistent misfires or limp mode effect which can cause me to have a collision with no warning. I have nearly been in 3 accidents due to this persistent issue.

I am reporting a recurring safety concern involving sudden loss of power and engine stalling while driving. The vehicle wouldn't accelerate during normal driving condition and lost power. After the vehicle stalled, all the warning light came on. My husband retired to restarted the engine but the it made cranking noise. After couple of minutes it barely restarted and was able to drive about a mile and then it stalled again. Repeated 4 times to finally make it home. The vehicle has a prior recall history related to the fuel system. The Current symptoms are similar to fuel delivery or fuel system-related failure conditions. I called Honda Corporate to provide flat bed for the towing but they refused. My husband cleared the code (P0087)so the vehicle was free of warning lights so he can drive to the dealer next morning. We brought the vehicle to Honda dealership for diagnosis. However, the issue could not be reproduced during an inspection due to code (P0087) was cleared and couldn't reproduce the code which directly indicates Fuel Rail Pressure Low. Given the safety nature of this condition and the fact that it occurs while driving, I and requesting an investigation into whether this may be related to a known defect of incomplete resolution of prior recall -related repairs. This issue poses a potential safety risk due to unexpected loss of engine power during operation. The dealer of Joyce Honda has test driven and couldn't find the fault so they want me to pick up the car at my own expense and safety risk.

Car suddenly stopped accelerating and became very unsafe and unable to be driven. Car has approx 100,000 miles but just was inspected (3/2026) and has been well maintained. It has been serviced at Honda service centers (Honda City and Advantage Honda) as well as my private mechanic. Private mechanic diagnosed the issue as faulty fuel injector citing code: P 303. I completed the fuel pump recalled repair at Advantage Honda dealership on March 22, 2023.

When driving the car the first time this happened on April 19, 2026 I excellerated after stop light to cross a highway. That is when the car started sputtering and the check engine light started flashing it would only go 5 miles per hour, I then pulled to the side of the highway turned the car off restarted the car check engine light was then turned off I excelerated. The check engine light started flashing again, the car would not proceed again. The second time this happened was April 21, 2026, we had not had the problem happen for a couple days so I drove it again got to the stop light and excellerated again and the same problem happened. We are now not driving the vehicle. I looked up to see if there was a recall on the 2019 Honda Accord my vin number did not come up. However the statement your organization has put out is “Nearly” all 2019 Honda Accords have been affected by this recall. This is the only car we have and we cannot get it fixed. Please help me
