after being garaged for over 10 years the rear cross body member has severe rust rendering the car unsafe to drive . The rest of the body has little to no rust. I was unable to climb under the car to get better pictures but I did visually confirm while at my mechanics garage.

I own 3 Infiniti G35's (2006, 2006, & 2007) and all 3 had this same exact problem! The fuel gauge reads a level higher than the vehicle actually has causing the cars check engine light to come on and the car runs out of gas and stalls with no notice. One time it almost caused a crash! I have replaced 2 Clusters and am now being told 3rd Infiniti cluster needs to be replaced. Obviously this is a major issue and very costly to repair amongst 06 & 07 Infiniti G35's. Please look into this!!
