The defect: Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2023-2024 London Aire, Essex, and 2016-2024 King Aire motorhomes. The baggage door skins may come loose and separate from the door frame.
The risk: A detached door skin can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and add fasteners and adhesive the door as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed August 22, 2025. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300. Newmar's number for this recall is 619 RSB.

The defect: Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2018-2020 Mountain Aire, Essex, and King Aire motorhomes. The bedroom fascia header may fall unexpectedly onto the bed.
The risk: If the fascia header falls while there is an occupant in the bed, it can increase the risk of an injury.
The remedy: Newmar will notify owners, and dealers will add screws and brackets to properly secure the fascia header, free of charge. The recall began September 17, 2019. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300.

The defect: Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Bay Star, Essex, New Aire, 2018 Bay Start Sport, Canyon Star, Dutch Star, King Aire, Mountain Aire, Ventana LE, Ventana, and London Aire motorhomes. The power supply for the WiFiRanger may overheat.
The risk: An overheated power supply can increase the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Newmar has notified owners, and dealers will replace the power supply, free of charge. The recall began April 18, 2019. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300.

I OWN A 2018 NEWMAR KING AIRE MOTOR HOME. I HAD A GEN 5 DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID (DEF) SENSOR FAIL AT 10,000 MILES. I WAS ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES IN THAT WHEN THE DASH LIT UP WITH WARNINGS I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE IT HOME BEFORE IT WENT INTO DERATE. I WAS LESS THAN 200 MILES AWAY AT THE TIME. THERE ARE MANY LINKS ON WWW.IRV2.COM ABOUT THIS ISSUE WITH MANY OTHER MOTOR HOME OWNERS. SOME VERY SCARY PUTTING LIVES AT RISK. THE DERATE LIMP MODE OF BEING ABLE TO GO 5MPH JUST DOES NOT SUFFICE. THERE IS NOTHING ON THE WARNINGS THAT TELL YOU HOW MANY MILES YOU CAN DRIVE BEFORE DERATE. THERE IS NO 'RESET BUTTON' TO GET YOU EITHER HOME OR TO A SERVICE CENTER. (SUGGESTION, SINCE THIS IS AN EPA MANDATE, COULDN'T THE EPA LET THE MANUFACTURERS HAVE A RESET BUTTON TO GET TO A SERVICE CENTER? IT WOULD REQUIRE A CALL TO THE EPA, MUST BE MANNED 24 HRS A DAY, SO THAT THEY CAN KEEP TRACK SO PEOPLE DON'T ABUSE.) I AM ALL FOR REDUCING EMISSIONS ON DIESEL ENGINES, BUT I AM NOT FOR PUTTING MY LIFE AT RISK TO ACHIEVE THIS. THAT IS WHAT IS HAPPENING TODAY. LIVES ARE BEING PUT AT RISK. Some coaches equipped with both the SilverLeaf system and a TRC transfer switch (model 40350RVC-40350RVC3) may receive a warning on the SilverLeaf touchscreen that reads “transfer switch 0-0 failure unknown.” This is a false warning caused by the TRC transfer switch program code.

The driver console USB port to the Xite G3 system may not function properly when plugged into the USB dongle on the Xite G3 system.
