The defect: Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2023-2024 London Aire, Essex, and 2016-2024 King Aire motorhomes. The baggage door skins may come loose and separate from the door frame.
The risk: A detached door skin can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and add fasteners and adhesive the door as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed August 22, 2025. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300. Newmar's number for this recall is 619 RSB.

On certain motorhomes, the baggage door skins may come loose from the door frame perimeter, possibly allowing the skin to separate completely from the door frame.

The Shyft Group Inc. (Spartan Chassis) has decided that a defect relating to motor vehicle safety exists in specific motorhomes built on a Spartan chassis (NHTSA #24V 052). In response, Newmar Corporation is issuing recall TC # 2024-088.

Newmar working with Xantrex has discovered some Freedom SW 3012 units experience a communication lock-up on the Xanbus network.
