Owner-reported complaints naming the airbag system, filed with NHTSA
Data refreshed
Airbags reportsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

On my 2015 Chevy Silverado truck the Service Airbag light has been coming on sporadically. I did a google search and received this back. Yes, there has been a recall on the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado regarding the airbag system, specifically affecting the roof-rail airbags (RRAB) which may deploy without a collision due to a potential manufacturing defect in the inflator, causing parts to potentially propel into the cabin and injure occupants; this recall affects both the 2015 Silverado 1500 I did a search via my VIN number and your site tells me my truck is not applicable. Please provide some guidance. I need this fixed and should not be charged for the fix.

No specific incident. I am trying to get this recall fixed but GMC/Chevy say the repair takes 2 days and won't give me a loaner vehicle. I don't have an extra vehicle to drive, this being a safety issue that takes more than 1 day, they need to provide a loaner. Please help me get this safety issue resolved.
