Manufacturer communications
A bulletin sent by a manufacturer to its dealers. Not a recall, and repairs are not necessarily free.
FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Allison Transmission equipped buses were built without a pressure regulator at the Solenoid inlet to the transmission retarder accumulator air inlet. This bulletin provides retrofit instructions for installing a pressure regulator to remedy leaks at the solenoid air exhaust.
STRUCTURE
Field service campaign bulleting: missing high-voltage cable clamps. Cable clamp is missing on some Battery electric Gen3.0 buses for the HV Charge port cables near the curbside HV junction box.
ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY; POWER TRAIN
Field service campaign bulletin: Modine BTMS Chiller. It has been discovered that some Modine BTMS battery chiller units may have a faulty refrigerant hose that will allow the refrigerant to leak out and cause a Stop Hybrid System fault.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
