YOU CAN PUSH THREW IT IN SOME SPOTS WITH YOUR FINGER. THIS WAS TO BE MY DAUGHTERS FIRST VEHICLE BUT IS NOTHING SHORT OF A DEATH TRAP. I HAVE CONTACTED ISUZU WHO TOLD ME THEY WILL DO NOTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM THEY CREATED FROM USING CHEAP METAL AND CHEAP UNDERCOATING AND THEY ADMIT IT. HOW IS THIS LEGAL IN ANY WAY

I TOOK MY 95' ISUZU RODEO TO MY LOCAL MECHANIC FOR NEW SHOCKS AND STRUTS. A FEW MINUTES LATER THE MECHANIC CAME IN THE WAITING ROOM AND SAID HE COULD NOT WORK ON THE VEHICLE DUE TO THE EXCESSIVE FRAME RUST AND THAT THE CAR IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE. HE WENT ON TO SAY ISUZU IS KNOWN FOR RUST AND HAS NOT MADE EFFORTS TO RECALL THEIR DEFECTIVE FRAMES. I AM NOW UNABLE TO PERFORM THE NORMAL ROUTINE MAINTENANCE NEEDED TO PROLONG THE LIFE OF MY VEHICLE AND INVESTMENT. THIS IS ALSO A HUGE SAFETY RISK THAT ISUZU SHOULD ADDRESS. *TR

Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.

Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
