SPONTANEOUS CRACK IN WINDSHIELD WE HAVE PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE USED IN 2088 AND HAVE REPLACE THE WINDSHIELD EACH YEAR OF OWNERSHIP FROM A SPONTANEOUS CRACK IN THE WINDSHIELD. WE WINDSHIELD WILL BE WHOLE WHEN PARKED AND THE NEXT MORNING IT WILL HAVE A CRACK WHICH ORIGINATES IN THE BOTTOM CENTER OF THE WINDSHIELD. I HAVE CHANGED GLASS COMPANIES MULTIPLE TIMES THINKING THAT IT WAS INSTALLATION ISSUES BUT THE SPONTANEOUS CRACK IN WINDSHIELD CONTINUES TO HAPPEN. WE ARE ON WINDSHIELD #6 OF OUR OWNERSHIP OF THIS VEHICLE. POOR WINDSHIELD WIPER DESIGN. WE LIVE IN THE NORTHEAST WHERE WE EXPERIENCE A LONG SNOWY WINTER AND THE WIPERS ICE UP AND CAUSES US TO STOP EVERY 5-10 MILES TO CLEAN THEM OFF. AS YOU CAN IMAGINE THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS PRACTICE WITH TRAFFIC IE: SNOWPLOWS AND SEMIS TRAVELING THE ROADS AND A PERSON STANDING BESIDE THEIR VEHICLE EXPOSED. *TR

Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
