CONTINUOUS BRAKE FAILURE AFTER REPEATED REPAIR ATTEMPTS. THE PARKING BRAKE LOCKS AND HAS TO BE DISCONNECTED FROM THE HYDRO-BOOST. REPLACED FIRST TRANSMISSION WITH COMPLETE INTERNAL FAILURE DUE TO OVERHEATING FROM BRAKES (FRONT DISC AND PARKING) LOCKING UP AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. 11/13/07 - ENGINE FAILED AND HAD TO BE REPLACED AS A RESULT OF THE BRAKES PLACING UNDUE STRAIN ON THE DRIVETRAIN AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THE TORQUE CONVERTOR WAS REPLACED AT THE SAME TIME AS THE ENGINE DUE TO THE BRAKE PROBLEMS. 11/12/10 - A SECOND TRANSMISSION FAILED AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED WITH ONLY 59,190 MILES WITH NO OVERDRIVE OR REVERSE GEARS. THE PARKING BRAKE DRUM FOR THIS VEHICLE IS MOUNTED ON THE REAR OF THE TRANSMISSION WHICH ALLOWS EXCESS HEAT TO BUILD UP AND DAMAGE THE TRANSMISSION AND THE ENGINE. IN ADDITION, AN AFTERMARKET TRANSMISSION FILTER (PLACED IN THE TRANSMISSION COOLING LINE BETWEEN THE TRANSMISSION AND THE RADIATOR) WAS INSTALLED BY THE MANUFACTURER OF THE MOTOR HOME AND FOUND TO BE CLOGGED. RESEARCH DISCOVERED THE MANUFACTURER OF THE FILTER WENT OUT OF BUSINESS WHEN THEY FAILED TO ENGINEER A BYPASS VALVE INTO THE FILTER WHICH CAUSED TRANSMISSION AND/OR ENGINE FAILURE COMPLAINTS AND LAWSUITS.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
