MY F-250 HAS HAD EVERY BRAKE CALIPER LOCK UP AND CAUSE TOTAL BRAKE SYSTEM FAILURE AND REPAIR. STARTING AT 40K MILES IT IS OUT OF WARRANTY BUT THERE IS AN OBVIOUS DEFECT IN THE DESIGN IF EVERY CALIPER HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM. MY SHOP DID A REPAIR HISTORY SEARCH AND FOUND THAT THE 2009S HAD A HIGHER FAILURE RATE THAN OTHER YEARS. I ALSO HAD THE MANIFOLD WARP AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT AT JUST 40K MILES. THANKS - DAN

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD F-250 SD. WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH OVER A POTHOLE, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY WITHOUT WARNING. ONCE THE SPEED WAS REDUCED, THE VEHICLE STOPPED SHAKING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN REPLACED THE TRACK BAR, BALL JOINT, BUSHING, AND THE STEERING DAMPER. THE REMEDY FAILED TO REPAIR THE ISSUE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD F-250 SD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE WAS UNSTABLE SHOOK AND VIBRATED EXCESSIVELY WITH AN EXTREME WOBBLE. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND WAS UNABLE TO PROVIDE A REPAIR SOLUTION TO PREVENT THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO MORE THAN FIVE DIFFERENT REPAIR SHOPS FOR VARIOUS REPAIRS, BUT THE FAILURES CONTINUED IN THE FRONT AND REAR ENDS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE CONTACT WAS WAITING TO DETERMINE IF THE MANUFACTURER WOULD BE ABLE TO PROVIDE A PERMANENT REPAIR SOLUTION. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 180,000.

WE OWN A 2009 FORD F250 SUPER DUTY 4X4, WITH LOW MILES (21478). THIS VEHICLE HAS RUN GREAT SINCE WE PURCHASED IT NEW. AS WE WERE DRIVING, THE ENGINE BEGAN TO RUN POORLY AND LOOSE POWER. THE ENGINE LIGHT THEN CAME ON. THE MECHANIC SCANNER THE ENGINE CODES P0012-P0018-P0022-P0341-P052D, INDICATING FAULTY CAM PHASERS AND TENSIONERS, AND THAT THE ENGINE WAS OUT OF TIME. THIS PICKUP HAS LOW MILEAGE AND ALL THE RECOMMENDED MAINTENANCE HAS ALWAYS BEEN DONE. THE FORD PARTS DEPARTMENT STATED THAT THEY KEEP THESE PARTS STOCKED BECAUSE IT IS A COMMON REPAIR ISSUE. *TR

THE CONTACT HAD TO MERGE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD DUE TO THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHO PERFORMED AN ALIGNMENT. WHILE DRIVING NORTH ON RT 95, EVERY TIME YOU MAKE A LEFT CURVE THE TRUCK SHOOK UNMERCIFULLY. WE WOULD HAVE TO PULL OFF & COME TO A COMPLETE STOP FOR THIS TO STOP HAPPENING. MIND YOU WE ARE OUTSIDE OF BALTIMORE AT ONE TIME PRAYING THAT NO ONE WOULD HIT US!!! THE TRUCK IS AT A FORD DEALERSHIP AS WE SPEAK, TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM. NATURALLY ITS SHOCKS (NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY) STEERING STABILIZER ROTATE & BALANCE TIRES. BUT NOW THAT I'VE READ YOUR OTHER COMPLAINTS I SEE I'M NOT ALONE. WE ONLY HAVE 45,00 ON THE TRUCK, THERE SHOULD BE NO NEED FOR ANY OF THIS EXPENSE YET!!! BECAUSE YOUR PART IS INADEQUATE I HAVE TO FORK OUT MONEY TO CORRECT THE OTHER PARTS??? I'M A LIFE TIME FORD TRUCK OWNER AND HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED IN MY LIFE AND READY TO PURCHASE FROM A COMPETITOR. THE TITLE "DEATH WOBBLE" IS VERY TRUE AND FORD REALLY NEEDS TO PAY ATTENTION BECAUSE IT WILL COST SOMEONE THEIR LIFE. IF I WASN'T 65 YEARS OLD AND AN EXPERIENCED DRIVER THE MULTIPLE TIMES I'VE EXPERIENCED THIS COULD HAVE KILLED ME. I HAVE REPLACED EVERYTHING INVOLVING THE SUSPENSION, TIRES, STRUTS, RODS, HAVING MULTIPLE ALIGNMENTS, ETC.. AND NOTHING HAS FIXED THIS MESS. FORD NEEDS TO FIX THIS. I'M WILLING TO BE PART OF A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM FOR THE LEMONS/DEATH TRAPS THEY'RE PRODUCING & SELLING. FORD IS AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM AND REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY
Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with wired keyless entry keypad systems and accessory wireless keyless entry keypad systems may or may not come with a wallet card containing the master code. Unlike the integrated wired keypad, the accessory wireless keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool or from the label printed on the body control module (BCM). The Factory Keyless Entry Code application within the diagnostic scan tool will not provide an applicable master code for the accessory wireless keypad. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is not available, the "Wireless RF Keypad Diagnosis Guide" can be referenced and provides direction on how to retrieve the master code. This guide is located under the Workshop Manual tab > Accessories > Installation > Wireless RF Keypad Diagnosis Guide > PPT C > Step C2.<br /><br /> Note: The only available keypad for some vehicles from the assembly plant is the accessory wireless keyless entry keypad. The integrated wired keypad cannot be installed on vehicles not equipped from the factory with a wired keyless entry k
EQUIPMENT
All accessory stick-on keyless entry keypads come with a wallet card containing the master code. If the accessory keypad was factory installed, this card will be placed in the glove box and should be handed to the vehicles owner during initial delivery. Unlike the integrated (wired) factory keypad, the accessory keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is lost, follow these steps to recover the code. Dealer Key Code access is granted through the Dealer Program Enrollment System (DPES); dealership management can authorize users. The authorized user must go to FMCDealer.com > Parts and Service > Parts Product Line Information > Keys/Entry Devices > Aftermarket Keyless Entry Keypad Code Access. Follow the instructions on the screen to obtain the master code for the accessory keypad.

STEERING
This SKU is a front upper ball joint. The Customer communication requested return of unsold inventory to inspect for ball studs with excessive rotational friction in the ball joint assembly. Excessive friction in the ball joint assembly may cause a perceptible increase in steering effort.
