The defect: Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Carbon, Fuzion, Impact, and Raptor travel trailers. The fuel station controller may fail.
The risk: A failure of the fuel station controller increases the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect the circuit protection and install a 15-amp fuse and a box to protect the fuel station controller, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 5, 2023. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 23-439.

The defect: Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Raptor and 2021 Montana vehicles equipped with certain Sailun tires, size 235/80R16G. Due to a manufacturing issue, the tires may experience a belt separation.
The risk: Belt separation could lead to loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect the tire DOT codes, and replace the tires as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 2, 2022. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 22-420.

The contact owns a 2021 Keystone Raptor RV. The contact stated while operating the vehicle, there was an abnormal fuel odor inside the RV. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the fuel lines from the generator to the fuel tank had contacted the axle causing a failure to the lines and causing fuel to leak. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure and the contact received parts to repair the failure. The repair was performed however, the failure reoccurred. The failure mileage was 3,000.

Revised repair instructions for KSB-221025 - This process describes how to inspect and add an End of Line Resistor (EOL) to the In-Command system that may be exhibiting erratic readings on HVAC and/or lose communication with components. It has been determined the vehicles in this KSB population may have been manufactured without the EOL resistor in the “Gateway” located in the Roof A/C.

It has been determined the units in this KSB population may develop sidewall cracks at both front slideouts. Only units that develop a crack will require this repair, if the sidewall is not cracked, no repair is needed.

KSB’s are intended to be used by trained RV technicians with the knowledge, tools and equipment to do the job properly and safely, not “do-it-yourselfers”. Inspection information is not presented as a repair guaranteed to be covered by warranty. Keystone’s P & P (Policy & Procedures) must be followed for any requested warranty work. Do not assume this inspection is covered by warranty. Not every unit requires a repair. This process describes the inspection of sidewall cracks and separation forward of the front slideouts to determine if there is a defect and what repair may need to be performed.

Do not assume this repair is covered by warranty. Not every unit listed requires a repair. Please read through the instructions start to finish before attempting the repair. This process describes the safe and proper procedure to repair any unit which experiences a crack at the bottom corner of a slideout at the gooseneck of a 5th wheel, opening the side wall to repair broken tube welds and add reinforcement. This technical service bulletin explains how to perform the repair. Please note: A sublet will be required for aluminum welding if you do not have that capability.
