The defect: Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Range Rover Sport vehicles. Cracks may develop in the rear subframe.
The risk: A cracked subframe may have reduced structural integrity, increasing the risk of injury during a crash. A crack may also diminish handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the rear subframe as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed November 20, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's numbers for this recall are D165 and D166.

POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM)

The defect: Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling one 2026 Range Rover Sport vehicle. The circuit board in the powertrain control module (PCM) was misaligned during production and may be deformed.
The risk: A deformed circuit board may cause a loss of drive power, increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy: A dealer will replace the PCM, free of charge. An interim letter notifying the owner of the safety risk is expected to be mailed November 20, 2026. An additional letter will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is D164.

The defect: Jaguar Land Rover North America LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Velar, Range Rover Sport, and Range Rover vehicles. The seat belt warning system may not activate the audible warning chime as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to conform with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
The risk: A seat belt chime that fails to alert occupants that they are unbuckled can increase the risk of injury during a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will replace the audio amplifier, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed July 10, 2026. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is D105.

NHTSA Vehicle Safety Complaint Narrative I am submitting this complaint to report what I believe is a safety-related defect involving the power liftgate on my 2026 Range Rover Sport. Prior to the incident described below, the vehicle’s power liftgate had unexpectedly opened on two separate occasions after it had been closed. Although those earlier events did not result in damage, they caused concern because the liftgate opened without my intentionally activating it. On July 2, 2026, while exiting my parking space in my condominium garage, I closed the liftgate, entered the vehicle, and began driving forward. Without any intentional activation by me, the power liftgate suddenly opened while the vehicle was moving. The liftgate struck a low overhead pipe/obstruction in the garage, causing significant damage to the liftgate, rear tail lamp, and related components. At the time of the incident: * I was driving forward, not reversing. * I did not intentionally press the liftgate button, key fob, or use any gesture activation feature. * The second key fob was inside my residence and not in the vehicle. * The incident occurred in the morning, before my family departed for a trip to Washington, D.C. I reported the incident to the Land Rover dealership and Land Rover North America. An engineering review later concluded that the vehicle “may have been reversing” and referenced a timestamp that I believe is inconsistent with when the incident actually occurred. I have requested written explanations regarding these discrepancies, including the basis for the conclusion that the vehicle may have been reversing and whether the two previous unexpected liftgate opening events were considered during the investigation. To date, I have not received satisfactory written answers to those questions. My concern extends beyond the damage to my vehicle. A power liftgate opening unexpectedly while a vehicle is in motion presents a potential safety hazard.

Vehicles on display e.g. in a showroom whilst being supported by a showroom 12v support unit, these vehicles require an additional fuse to be removed to prevent the MHEV (48v) battery draining and causing the cells to drop to a non recoverable level.
