The defect: Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Allegro and Allegro Breeze motorhomes. The buss bar may be improperly secured, which can cause electrical components in the DC Distribution Panel to overheat.
The risk: Overheated electrical components can melt and increase the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Dealers will replace the buss bar with a cable, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 18, 2022. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-0261. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-120.

The defect: Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Allegro Breeze, Allegro Red, Allegro, Allegro Bus, Phaeton, and 2018-2021 Zephyr recreational vehicles. The sofa seat belts may not have been installed correctly, which could result in unsecured passengers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
The risk: Unsecured passengers have an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair the seat belts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 29, 2021. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-118.

DROVE MY BRAND NEW TIFFIN 2020 ALLEGRO RED FROM THE DEALER IN LOUISIANA TO MY HOME IN OHIO. THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS QUIT WORKING IN THE MIDST OF A HEAVY RAIN STORM FORCING ME TO PULL OFF THE ROAD UNTIL THE WEATHER SUBSIDED. THE WIPER MOTOR FELT HOT. AFTER FINALLY GETTING HOME, TIFFIN INDICATED THAT THIS WAS A KNOWN PROBLEM AND SENT ME A BULLETIN THAT WAS ISSUED IN THE SUMMER OF 2019 EXPLAINING HOW TO REWIRE THE MOTOR FROM BATTERY POWER TO IGNITION POWER. I TOOK THE RV TO A LOCAL TIFFIN DEALER AND WAS TOLD THAT MY RV HAD TO BE REPAIRED BY A FREIGHTLINER DEALER, SINCE THEY MADE THE CHASSIS. TOOK THE RV TO A FREIGHTLINER DEALER IN A NEARBY TOWN AND THEY SAID THAT IT HAD TO BE REPAIRED BY A TIFFIN DEALER. HERE I AM WITH A NEW RV IN THE MIDDLE OF PRIME TIME CAMPING SEASON AND I CANNOT DRIVE MY RV ANYWHERE IN THE EVENT OF A SEVERE WEATHER AND POUNDING RAIN. TRYING TO DRIVE THE RV IN HEAVY RAIN IS A TERRIFYING EXPERIENCE, ESPECIALLY WHEN BEING PASSED BY COMMERCIAL TRUCKS THAT BLIND YOU WITH SPLASH. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE WHICH IS NOT BEING ADDRESSED BY TIFFIN.*DT*DT CONSUMER STATED BLINKER INDICATORS DID NOT WORK FROM THE BEGINNING.*JB*JB *TR

EXTERIOR LIGHTING

Stopped using the lights we had been using due to expense. Replaced with these, but these new lights have to be wired in instead of just clicking in. These are the instructions to wire in.
