I RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER IN THE MAIL INVOLVING THE INSTRUMENT PANEL RANDOMLY GOING DARK AND/OR RESETTING DURING PERFORMANCE. I HAVE ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT THE DEALERSHIP/JAGUAR CORPORATE TO SCHEDULE THIS ISSUE TO BE TAKEN CARE OF AS I DO WORRY ABOUT IT GOING DARK DURING COMMUTE AND CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. I HAVE MADE MULTIPLE CALLS TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE LAST 3 WEEKS AS WELL AS LEFT A MESSAGE FOR THE OWNER TO CALL ME BACK AS NO ONE FROM SERVICE HAS REACHED BACK OUT TO SCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT. I HAVE HAD THE RECEPTIONISTS HAND WRITE NOTES TO THE SERVICE MANAGERS AS WELL AS THE OWNER BUT STILL NO CALL BACKS. IN THE MEANTIME I HAVE ATTEMPTED TO CALL JAGUAR CORPORATE WITH THE SAME TREATMENT AND RESPONSE ABOUT A RATHER SERIOUS ISSUE, I HAVE LEFT NUMEROUS VOICEMAILS FOR THEIR EXECUTIVE SUITE AS WELL AS 2 OTHER PEOPLE TO HEAR BACK BUT HAVE HEARD NOTHING IN 3 WEEKS, IT SICKENS ME TO KNOW THAT EVERY TIME MY WIFE GETS IN THE CAR THAT IT COULD BE A SAFETY ISSUE BUT DUE TO THE FACT THAT THINGS HAVE TO BE ACCOMPLISHED AND I TRAVEL WE UNFORTUNATELY DO NOT HAVE A CHOICE. JAGUAR HAS BEEN COMPLETELY NON RESPONSIVE ABOUT THIS ISSUE WHILE ALSO BEING NEGLIGENT OF ANY RESPONSIBILITY ON FIXING IT. I AM REACHING OUT HERE MORE OUT OF DESPERATION AS I HAVE TRIED MULTIPLE AVENUES WITH THE SAME RESULT. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED AS WE DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THE VEHICLE.

Cosmetic defect to IDMA and ICDM will also be handled via AutoFRED for specific model callouts.
Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Software Update
These Customer Satisfaction Programs (CSP’s) are being made available as a benefit under the Class Action settlement agreement for clients who own or lease a Settlement Class vehicle, that requires a wired software update to the Infotainment system IMC to enable future Software- Over-The-Air (SOTA) updates.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
