Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2006 Land Rover Range Rover. It was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 79,500, and at the time of registration, it was discovered that the mileage was 222,121.

1. While driving 2006 Land Rover Range Rover HSE (L322) , I stopped to groceries and to my surprise The Key would not turn in the ignition . 2. The steering wheel was locked. I checked online and appears this is a major problem for 2006 and 2007 Range Rover HSE per the Range Rover Forum that has to be addressed by Range Rover 3. Danger is the occurrence of such an event on the Highway

Fuel pump power and fuel level sensor electrical connector has undersized pins and sockets in the 4.4L and 4.2L engine equiped full sized range rovers from 06-09. The connector located on top of the fuel filter assembly on top of the fuel tank overheats and melts the plastic surrounding the copper feedthru pins connecting the fuel pump to the fuel pump relay. The pins passing thru the male portion of the connector on the fuel filter appears to be undersized. I've had three fuel pumps fail, at least one of which required the entire connector to be replaced on the vehicle (by me).

The contact owns a 2006 Land Rover Range Rover equipped with Hankook tires, Tire Line: Ventus S1 Nobel 2, Tire Size: 255/50/R20, DOT Number: 5MNC1AH. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 35 MPH, the tires began to make a loud thumping noise. The contact stated that the steering wheel was also vibrating. The vehicle was taken to a tire repair facility and the contact was informed that the tires were dry rotted. The tires were purchased in 2017. The tires were replacement tires and had not been replaced. The manufacturer was contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 99,000.

WHEN I BACKED MY RANGE ROVER UP OVER THE SIDE CURB IT LOCKED MY STEERING. I CAN ONLY TURN MY WHEEL WHEN THE TRUCK IS DRIVING IT HAS NO POWER WHILE IN JUST SITTING AT A LIGHT. MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO PARK MY TRUCK BECAUSE I CAN'T TURN THE WHEEL WITHOUT GAS TO THE TRUCK. I TOOK IT TO AUTO ZONE TO SEE IF IT WAS POWER STEERING BUT NO NOISE THE FLUIDS ARE IN THERE.

ENGINE; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM)
Air leak from the right hand camshaft cover assembly due to a split diaphragm within the pressure control valve. Any of the following DTCs (indicating an air intake system leak) could be stored in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) ? P2187, P2189, P0505, P0507.
SEATS
Seat height operates in increments and seat memory function will not work after replacement of seat height motor. Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1B87-31, stored in Driver Seat Module (DSM) or Passenger Seat Module (PSM) Note that the seat height motor is supplied as part of the cushion sub-assembly or motor sub-assembly (depending on model)
