THE AUTOMATIC STEERING WHEEL TILT SOMETIMES GETS LOCKED IN THE LOWEST DOWN POSITION. AT THAT POINT THE STEERING WHEEL CAN ONLY BE ADJUSTED FRONT TO BACK AND NOT UP AND DOWN.

THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V015000 (AIR BAGS); HOWEVER, THE PART FOR THE RECALL REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT CALLED LAND ROVER JAGUAR LAS VEGAS (5255 W SAHARA AVE, LAS VEGAS, NV 89146; 702-579-0400) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PART FOR THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE/FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 123,000. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
