The defect: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Toyota Tundra, Lexus LX, and 2024 Lexus GX vehicles equipped with a V35A engine. Debris from the manufacturing process may contaminate the engine and cause the main bearings to fail, which can result in an engine stall and loss of drive power.
The risk: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will perform an inspection on the #1 main bearing using vehicle inspection software and drive data, and if necessary, replace the engine. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed December 16, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 25TB14 and 25TA14. Lexus' numbers for this recall are 25LB07 and 25LA07. This recall expands previous NHTSA recall number 24V381.

The defect: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Tundra, Tundra Hybrid, and 2023-2025 Sequoia Hybrid vehicles. A software error may cause the rearview image not to display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
The risk: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will update the multimedia display software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 19, 2025. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 25TB10 and 25TA10.

The defect: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Toyota Tundra and Tundra Hybrid vehicles. Moisture may enter the reverse light assemblies and cause a light failure.
The risk: Reverse light failure may reduce visibility, and not alert pedestrians and other drivers that the vehicle is backing up, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will replace both reverse light assemblies and repair the wire harnesses as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed May 23, 2026. This is a phased recall. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331.Toyota's numbers for this recall are 24TB06 and 24TA06.

On April 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM, while driving, I noticed something unusual with my car, and it broke down on the side of the road, leaving me panicked and frightened. After the car stopped, I got out and looked at the engine from underneath; I saw engine oil spraying out of the engine. I then had the car towed to a safe location, and a few days later, I took it to the Toyota dealership.

The contact owns a 2023 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, several warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with turbo boost failure. The contact was informed that the turbo boost needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. In addition, the contact was informed that the failure was not associated with NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V767000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the part for the recall repair had been unavailable for approximately nine months. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and several cases were filed. The failure mileage was approximately 41,000.

Vehicle Information: 2023 Toyota Tundra Limited TRD Off-Road (Equipped with Factory Tires) [1] Current Mileage: Approximately 26,000 miles Description of Safety Defect: The factory-installed tires on this vehicle are exhibiting premature, severe tire dry rot (sidewall/tread cracking) and highly accelerated, uneven tread wear at only 26,000 miles. The depth of the rot and the erratic wear pattern present an immediate structural hazard, significantly increasing the risk of a sudden tread separation, sidewall blowout, or catastrophic tire failure at highway speeds. Despite proper vehicle maintenance, alignment checks, and routine tire rotations, the rubber compound has degraded at an unacceptable and unsafe rate for a low-mileage, modern vehicle. This premature deterioration compromises wet-weather traction, braking efficiency, and overall vehicle handling. The severe degradation of these original equipment manufacturer (OEM) tires constitutes a clear manufacturing defect that poses an ongoing safety risk to the driver, passengers, and other motorists on the road.

Recall # 25V767 has been open since November 6, 2025 and the remedy is not yet available. There is a possibility that certain machining debris may not have been cleared from the engine when it was produced which can lead to potential engine knocking, engine rough running, engine no start, and/or a loss of motive power. I am concerned about this being a major safety issue and also concerned about the fact that the recall has been open since November 2025 and there is still no remedy.

We were driving on [XXX] coming from [XXX] going to [XXX] pulling a trailer within weight limits when the engine went out. We had it towed and looked at a dealership in [XXX]. They said it would.need engine replacement. We had it shipped to michigan spartan Toyota in Lansing who quoted us 30k for the replacement. It is out od the warranty replacement. Toyota corporate said they wont do anything. Even though they recalled the non hybrid engines for the same reason. They wont replace the hybrid engines. We just bought this truck a month ago. Used. The car dealership wont take it back. We know out what we bought it for (36k) plus this engine replacement. Whixh no one will help with. 2 RECALLS ISSUES: Since I bought that Toyota Tundra from 2023 to now, I was reporting several times issues with knocking engine and losing of engine power (rough running), but service department said nothing happens with. Then, now I have a recall, waiting to get a new engine, that I saw it over the dealer Toyota computer, as the adviser told me "I am in waiting line", but time is running, and no one is contacting me to done it. I am very worry to get issues when I am driving, Then I have to get a long trip no Mexico with the truck, but can not do it like this. Then my reverse lamp lights have a recall too. I'D CONTACT TOYOTA CAMELBACK OF PHOENIX AZ. TWO TIMES, BUT I RECEIVED NO ANSWERS. Thank you so much
