TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1996 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THE FRONT DOORS FAILED TO OPEN ON THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE DOOR LATCH WAS DAMAGED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE PASSENGER AND DRIVER SIDE DOOR LATCHES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000. UPDATED 02/05/16*LJ UPDATED 05/02/18*JB

I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 1996 CHEVROLET SILVERADO3/4 TON PICKUP FROM THEN CAMP CHEVROLET IN SPOKANE WA. AND STARTED EXPERIENCING BRAKE FAILURE IN THIS VEHICLE ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AMONG MANY OTHER PROBLEMS. AND FINALLY HAD TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE AND GET AN ATTORNEY TO SUCCESSFULLY TURN IT IN ON THE LEMON LAW. THIS PROBLEM WITH THE BRAKE SYSTEM HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR LONGER THEN 1999. THIS IS ALL DOCUMENTED INFORMATION. ALL I EVER GOT FROM THIS COMPANY WAS WE CANNOT DUPLICATE CUSTOMERS COMPLAINT .JUST THOUGHT I WOULD LET YOU KNOW IF YOU FELT LIKE FOLLOWING UP ON IT . I WOULD STEP ON THE BRAKE AND THE THING WOULD SEEM TO TAKE TO LONG TO STOP . ONE TIME I WAS DRIVING DOWN A STREET IN SPOKANE AND SOMEONE SUDDENLY STOP AHEAD OF ME SO I HAD TO PUT ON THE BRAKES AND AT FIRST IT DIDN'T SLOW SO I PRESSED HARDER ON THE BRAKES AND HARDER AND HARDER WHEN IT FINALLY CAME TO A STOP I WAS KNOW MORE THEN TWO OR THREE INCHES FROM HITTING THIS VEHICLE AND THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS COMPLETELY TO THE FLOOR WITH NO MORE PEDAL LEFT. *TR
