The defect: Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2018-2020 Fuzion 429 recreational trailers. The wiring harness to the power center may have been pinched between the floor framing and chassis beam, potentially damaging the wiring harness.
The risk: The damaged wiring harness may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and repair the wiring as needed, free of charge. The recall began on July 16, 2019. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 19-351.

The defect: Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2016-2019 Keystone Impact and Fuzion recreational trailers. The wiring for the electric brakes may contact the tires or wheels, causing damage to the wires, potentially reducing the trailer's braking ability.
The risk: A loss of braking ability can increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the wiring for damage, making repairs as necessary, install wiring protection and re-route the wiring, free of charge. The recall began October 22, 2018. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 18-330.

The defect: Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling various 2003-2018 Crossroads, Dutchmen, and Keystone recreational trailers equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V755-5127.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. The risk: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
The remedy: Keystone will notify owners and instruct them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2018. The contact owns a 2018 Keystone Montana equipped with Sailun Tires, Tire Line: S637, Tire Size: ST235/80/R16, Dot Number: 1YJ276PLA. The contact stated that the RV was taken in for an alignment after purchasing new tires. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the low tire pressure message displayed. The contact pulled over to inspect the tires and noticed that the tread was low on the passenger’s side rear tire. The contact replaced the tire with the spare and continued to driving to his destination. The tire was replaced with a new tire however, after replacing the tire, the contact was driving when the low tire pressure message on the driver’s side rear tire was displayed. The contact inspected the tire and became aware that the tread was extremely worn and was separated from the tire. The spare tire was placed on the trailer and the vehicle was taken to the dealer for the tire to be replaced. The tire was replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 2,500.

The information and instructions in a Keystone Service Bulletin (KSB) are intended to inform RV dealership Service Managers/Technicians of situations that may occur with some Recreational vehicles so dealership personnel can perform proper and efficient service. KSB’s are intended to be used by trained RV technicians with the knowledge, tools and equipment to do the job properly and safely, not “do-it-yourselfers”. Inspection information is not presented as a repair guaranteed to be covered by warranty. Keystone’s P & P (Policy & Procedures) must be followed for any requested warranty work. Do not assume this inspection is covered by warranty. Not every unit requires a repair. This process describes the inspection of sidewall cracks and separation forward of the front slideouts to determine if there is a defect and what repair may need to be performed.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING

This is the REVISED repair instructions for advisory 18-318. It has been determined that certain Atwood furnace models may have wiring that can come in contact with the exhaust vent tube causing the furnace to shut down in a safe manner.
