Purchased vehicle in question on 9/11/25 as a lease through the local Jeep dealership near my residence. Sometime around 4/26 to 5/26 my vehicle started to display odd operational patterns which were brought to my local dealerships attention. The first event where I was able to record any type of documentation was around 5/25/26. While driving, the vehicle would suddenly go into "limp mode" and rapidly decrease speed. Several check engine lights would appear to include: Service Electronic Throttle Control, Service Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control and the standard CEL. When this does happen, the vehicle will decrease speed suddenly without warning and becomes difficult to operate until it is pulled over and parked. Vehicle has been to my local dealership several times (4) and out of service for over 70 days with the latest stay 30+ days. According to documentation from the dealership, the listed error/issue has been recreated on their end at least one time but no data was captured with that fail. My local Jeep dealership Service Manager (CF) replied to an email of mine (7/16/26 at 1703) with the following statement: Verified customer concern of check engine light on connect to wytec and found p2173 stored in powertrain control module. Also found c121c stored in ABS module. Believe ABS code is related to PCM code, cleared codes test drove multiple times. Finally able to get customer concern to duplicate but no data was captured on this failure. We are continuing to drive the vehicle while monitoring data to catch freeze frame data while concern occurs but have not been able to do so far at this time. The condition, when it occurs presents a serious safety concern for the driver and other drivers as it will cause a sever throttle limitation and can cause the vehicle to slow down rapidly. As of 8/9/26, no fix confirmed for my vehicle and the dealership and manufacture are pushing to return my vehicle with confirmed fix. Jeep case number 97378351

As I was driving a service electronic stability control came up on my dash and I lost control of the vehicle. The brakes did not work and it was hard to steer. I almost hit a vehicle and the Jeep kept rolling until it stopped. Then I received an alert that the brakes did system, anti lock brake system, and Electronic Stability System failure. This is very scary my vehicle is a lease and they say they are fixing it but I’m very scared I will lose control of my Jeep while I’m driving.

The 12-volt auxiliary battery and related electrical system in my 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4XE plug-in hybrid (leased new 8/25/2025) repeatedly fail. The battery completely discharges after the vehicle sits plugged into a standard home charger, undisturbed, for several consecutive days, leaving the vehicle completely inoperable. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request and is currently at a dealership. Failures to date (5): 11/05/2025: found dead after charging; required jump start. No warning lamps or messages precede the discharge events; the vehicle is simply dead when approached. 01/26/2026: dead after charging; would not jump start; towed. Dealer replaced the 12V battery and performed recall 68C software. 04/27/2026: check engine light illuminated while driving and the vehicle became stuck in electric mode; it would not switch to hybrid, gas, or E-save despite attempts, and a restart did not resolve it; towed. Dealer could not reproduce the fault. 05/17/2026: dead after charging; towed. 12V battery replaced a second time (same part number) and media hub replaced; vehicle was dead again at dealer pickup. 06/13/2026: dead after charging (plugged in undisturbed 6/9 to 6/13); towed. Tow operator noted the rear tires dragged during loading. Dealer/manufacturer confirmation: dealers have observed and documented the dead-battery condition multiple times, including a vehicle dead at pickup, but no dealer has reproduced the underlying failure or confirmed a root cause across five repair visits and approximately 56 cumulative days out of service as of 7/6/2026. The manufacturer's customer care team is engaged; it suspects a parasitic electrical draw, and the dealer is awaiting specialized test equipment. No police or insurance inspection. Safety risk: inability to leave electric mode while driving with the check engine light active; repeated complete electrical failures stranding occupants; an undiagnosed electrical draw in a plug-in hybrid that charges overnigh

While driving my 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe in normal conditions, the vehicle unexpectedly loses electric drive power. Power is reduced in stages — to approximately 50%, then 25% — then electric mode is disabled and the dash displays "Electric Mode Temporarily Unavailable," after which the vehicle forces into hybrid operation after a delay. During the delay, the vehicle does not deliver the power requested by the accelerator. This has occurred at 41%, 73%, and 81% battery state of charge during normal driving, with no wide-open-throttle demand — conditions under which the manufacturer's specification states electric power should continue. This is a loss of drive power. The manufacturer's own recall A7C (NHTSA campaign 25V710000) identifies a software error that may result in loss of drive power in these vehicles, and states that a loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash. My vehicle exhibits this condition but is not included in that recall population, which raises a question of whether the recall scope covers all affected vehicles. Safety risk: unexpected loss of drive power during normal driving — including when merging, crossing intersections, or pulling into traffic — creates a delay in which the vehicle does not respond to the accelerator as expected. Reproduced by the dealer: dealership service personnel personally experienced the loss of electric propulsion during a test drive, and the condition was also reproduced on a second 4xe vehicle at the dealership. In all cases, no diagnostic trouble codes were present, no repair was performed, and the vehicle was returned as "operating as designed." A neutral arbitrator in the manufacturer's warranty arbitration found that a nonconformity exists with a propulsion issue on the vehicle. The condition has not been properly diagnosed because I am unable to obtain the diagnostic measurement I have requested. When driving on the highway the jeep would not accelerate. At about 60mph no matter how far I pushed the petal down it would only maintain speed. It happened again going much slower on local streets.

Spitzer Motors performed NHTSA safety recall 68 C on my vehicle. The dealer refuses to provide HV Battery State of Health percentage. Dealer told me to go to Don Nester Autogroup instead. Jeep Wave case number 96929145 was opened. The representative refused to escalate the case and was I advised to contact the dealer. Dealer did not cooperate. Jeep Wave was contacted again and the representative suggested contacting the dealer again and to call back with the case if unresolved. Representative refused to give CSI survey. The case remained unresolved and Jeep wave was contacted again. Case number 96929145 was prematurely closed. I was not notified about the case closure. There was no resolution. A new case was opened, number 97058705 to hide history. Representative advised to take the car to the dealer and pay for proper diagnosis. Representative refused to provide the CSI survey. Sale was 26 days ago and no survey was sent. The survey window closes at the 30 day mark. Dealer appears to not have reported the sale to avoid CSI. This violates NHTSA policy that recall inspections and documentation are free. Stella it’s/Jeep Wave is telling the consumer to pay for recall compliance.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Switchbank 4 gang The customer will notice either one or two of the following conditions: 1. Fuel Door is Not opening when Fuel door Switch is pushed. Technician Observe the DTC P04CB-FUEL FILL DOOR OPEN REQUEST SENSOR-SWITCH CIRCUIT HIGH. 2. Drives Modes do not work when Switch is pressed (Hybrid, Electric, E-save). Technician Observe DTC U113B-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH SWITCH BANK MODULE. Procedure: If during vehicle Scan diagnostics besides DTC's P04CA, P04CB or U113B. there are another DTCs Repair it First accordingly. DTC's may be related to main ECU's like: HCP, BCM, PCM, etc. If DTC P04CB and/or U113B are still present, then follow the following action before replacing the Switch: 1. Read vehicle DTCs while the IGN ON. 2. Verify ESBM feed fuse state. Replace the fuse if needed. 3. Wiggle the ESBM harness takeout (LIN and ESBM feed takeout) and monitor the state of DTC P04CB and/or U113B. o If this step affects DTC P04CB and/or U113B. behavior, the issue is likely related to a failure in the harness. 4. Disconnect the harness from the ESBM and confirm there not any damage, like bend PINs, corrosion, etc. 5. Confirm Harness continuity. 6. Verify power to ESBM by back probing the ESBM connector o If voltage is lower than 11.8V, follow normal procedures for low batteries. - If there no damage in the harness nor the connector and pins of the ESBM, reconnect it ensuring the harness connector is being fully engaged into the ESBM connector. 7. Confirm Continuity of the harness from the ESBM connector to the BCM connectors. 8. Reconnect the ESBM and then Verify LIN bus activity with Mopar scope. o Config scope to LIN monitor if feasible. o Replace the ESBM only based confirmation from the LIN diagnostic. 9. With the scan tool, read DTCs. If still DTC are set, replace ESBM (Fuel door and drive modes Switch module) in accordance with the Service Information. Flag the part to be returned to supplier for further part analysis.

Currently no dealer claims with this issue stating the RVC image is affected. Verify "Z" part number availability.
